Pros: amazing lyrics and sound Cons: older album
Tori Amos is a woman who writes and plays from her heart. Since she is the writer of all of the songs on the Little Earthquakes album you know that each lyric means something from her life. The lyrics are so deep it takes time to realize what she is...

Pros: Best lyrical Tori Cons: Some weak tracks
A lot of people are biased to say that this is automatically their favourite Tori album, b/c it's her first released album and all. I, however, disagree.
Now, granted, I do agree that this is her most emotional album effort. The lyrics in every song...

Pros: Vibrant album that is unlike anything else Cons: Angst could get to you.
Tori Amos' album, Little Earthquakes, is unlike any other album. This album is full of raw emotion, beautiful instrumentals, and Tori Amos proves that she has the voice of a siren.
Songs such as "Winter" and "China" portray images in your head...

Pros: leaves the ears singing along, especially the ones with feet Cons: NONE!
This album is one of my favorite Tori albums. Right up there with Under the Pink and Boys for Pele. It's an outpouring of her personal soul as she considers most of the songs directly from her personal experiences. Most noted is "Me and a...

Pros: diversity, strength, emotion, pain, reality, MUSICIANSHIP! Cons: she's so damn good, it makes me jealous!
Personally, as a vocalist myself, this is the best collection of diverse, vocally challenging, and emotionally stirring songs I have ever come across. Each song addresses either a pure emotion or a current issue that isn't easy to talk about. But Tori...

Pros: A heartfelt look at the world around us. Cons: Don't let anyone borrow it...you'll never get it back!
I bought this CD years ago mainly for the purpose of choosing 'Winter' as a lyrical song for figure skating...but it became much more to me. It became the very beginning of a 'relationship' I would develope with Tori Amos. Now, there is never a day...

Pros: the least metaphorical of her works Cons: so so much angst
is that i bought it when i was 14 years old, after my friend wesley sent me the lyrics to "winter" in a letter.
and the thing about wesley is that we sent letters to one another even though we lived in the same town and it would have...

Pros: lush lyrics, excellent support Cons: None. ^_^
I bought this album because a friend recommended it. I was a little frightened at first; Tori Amos' genre of music is *not* the genre of music I usually listen to... But after listening to the first song, I couldn't help but like it.
I would...

Pros: Emotional, she really can sing and play the piano, and it isn't pop Cons: Too depressing, angry, bashing, never has anything positive to say, possibly pretentious
I received this CD for my birthday, and I must admit that I enjoyed it, for the most part. It is nice to hear something from a female artist who is not just another bleach-head bimbo whoring herself on MTV who gets more attention for her cleavage then...

Pros: One of her best albums ever written. Cons: Deeply emotional.Passionate.
Tori always will be the master of piano in my opinion. My personal favorite song on the album is"leather""I could just pretend that you love me/The night would lose all sense of fear/But why do I need you to love me/When you can't hold what I hold...

Pros: beautifully written Cons: not enough
Tear apart every part of tori's life and stick it in 10, 5 minute parts, you know what that equals? Little Earthquakes. She talks so beautifly and graficaly in her songs that you are actually there, experiencing what she has gone through even if you...

Pros: Perfect From Beginning to the End Cons: None
My sister bought this album when it came out and I quickly realized it was the most moving album I had heard since Kate Bush. Tori Amos has a way of writing and singing the most sad songs, yet the most haunting and intricate music. Her music makes...

Pros: Great lyrics, voice, and piano Cons: (?) A bit mellow at times, I suppose, but that's kind of the point.
This album was given to me as a gift by someone who is a huge fan of Tori Amos. I had never heard any of her music before, as she gets surprisingly little radio air play. Tori Amos has a rather rabid cult-esque group of loyal followers, and after a fair...

Pros: This is for anyone who enjoys the out of the ordinary singer with unbelievable talent Cons: If your not a female vocalist fan or only like hard stuff this isn't for you
I totally agree with you Kangaroo17. I was not a fan of Tori Amos until recently. My husband kept telling me that she was one of the greatest female artist out today and I wasn't sure then I listened to Little Earthquake and was just amazed and the...

Pros: Its Tori! Everything is a pro Cons: Its Tori? There are no Cons!
OK, this is Tori Amos's first CD, unless you count "Y Kant Tori Read?" Which is so hard to find that few have even heard it. But this CD is bye far her best! I have every CD of hers, from this one to hey Jupiter, all of them have special...
