Pros: Some mighty fine guitar riffs and guitar solos here and there. Good drumming. Cons: Mostly second rate material. The best song is a power ballad!
For many years, I outright dismissed this album after giving it a casual listen or two (or maybe three) just because I hated Tony Iommi's use of the name Black Sabbath w/o any of the other original members still in the group. After listening to ...

Pros: Some nice tunes, "Heart Like A Wheel", some cool solos and riffs Cons: Sounds very dated, not a real Sabbath album, "No Stranger to Love", Glenn Hughes
This is the black sheep album of the Sabbath discography. Originally intended to be a solo album of Tony Iommis, the guitarist was forced to bow to record company pressures and release it under the Black Sabbath name. As a result, we get the ...

Pros: Some excellent guitar solos. Not a typical Sabbath album which is a good change. Cons: Should have been called an Iommi solo album.

Pros: Tony Iommi played guitar Cons: Everything else--the worst "Sabbath" album ever, in my opinion
Well, this isn't really a Black Sabbath album. It was supposed to be a Tony Iommi solo album, but got stuck with the Sabbath name as "Black Sabbath Featuring Tony Iommi." It is very metal, and really doesn't share much in style with the...

Pros: Good guitar, singing and song writing Cons: No, it's not Iron or paranoid but give it a chance.
I’ve been a Black Sabbath junkie for almost 30 years now and I don’t see any reason to change now!
I really loved Sabbath in the Ozzy years but things change and you have to except it or get left behind. Black Sabbath’s album Seventh Star was...
