Panorama is the by far best album by the Cars EVER! Just about every aspect of it is the exact opposite of what everyone was expecting from them when it was released. I must have listened to Panorama at least 10 times the day I bought it. The lyrics are weird ("...it's always warm and runny." from "Misfit Kid"), the keyboards are quirkier than on any other Cars album, and the guitars are kind of cool but they ultimately sound dry and wimpy.

Everyone expected a rockin' album from the Cars when "Panorama" was released, instead they got a total curve ball from Ric Ocasek and band. I am still trying to figure out what happened to these guys that made them make a record almost completely devoid of any contemporary cool factor. I Love It!!!
