Pros: Ok Special effects Cons: Bad script, plot, acting....
Summary: T-Rex, an IMAX 3-D movie, is a huge disapointment. When I watch this movie, I don't know whether to laugh or cry. I usually end up falling asleep. This movie has also been a huge flop at the theatre I work at, with people not even showing up for ... read more

Pros: Might be more physically correct than Jurassic Park... Cons: ...but where's the fun in that??
Summary: I've seen a few IMAX movies in my day, and T-Rex: Back to the Cretaceous is the first one that feels incomplete. The movie's supposed draw is its super-sized depiction of dinosaurs, but IMAX could have enlarged any of the Jurassic Park ... read more

Pros: Umm, let me think, it's in 3D? Cons: If this movie were not in 3D I don't think anyone would have seen it.
Summary: I think it's amazing how a movie can get away with being so bad just because it's 3D. The dinosaurs were Jurassic Park dinosaurs in 3D, but at least Jurassic park had a plot. The plot's really exciting (not), it's starts with this annoying whiny girl ... read more

Pros: 3D! 3D! 3D! Cons: too short, kinda pricey
Summary: I am a big IMAX fan and I loved this production. The human characters were not interesting or even necessary for the movie. The dinosaurs turned out so great I didn't care about the cheazy acting. The 3D effects were AMAZING, I jumped, I moved my ... read more

Pros: 3D, 3D, 3D, interesting Cons: short length, and high price
Summary: I just returned from the Imax movie T-Rex. I am always a fan of Imax, even though they are so short and expensive. I knew this time would be different. I knew this as soon as the 3D glasses were handed out. I couldn't wait to actually see something ... read more

Pros: it's not very long Cons: the whole thing
Summary: Only go to this film for the IMAX 3-D experience. The actors are horrible and the story is unbelievable yet they try to present it in a believable way. This is a movie that a third grade teacher might take her class on a field trip to see if they are ... read more

Pros: 3-D effects Cons: Everything else
Summary: I saw this movie with my 5-year-old and he thought it was bad. What does that tell you?
If this weren't in 3-D, I would have walked out. The plot (I hate using that word while talking about this movie) I can't even recall. Something about ... read more

Pros: more accurate than Jurassic Park Cons: not nearly as entertaining as The Lost World
Summary: T-Rex: Back to the Cretaceous is remarkable only in that, unlike Jurassic Park, the movie title gets the reign of Tyrannosaur correct.
A complete waste of IMAX 3-D and sound, T-Rex is sure to bore every parent that is ... read more

Pros: you and your kids will enjoy the 3-D glasses Cons: you'll ask your self "where's the Dino's."
Summary: I enjoy going to the IMAX Theater. Going to T-Rex was a big disappointment. My son who is 5 years old, loves Dinosaurs. So when we heard that T-Rex was showing at the IMAX Theater we ran down to see it. I would have to say the biggest excitement was ... read more

Pros: the theater was cool Cons: the plot was weak, amateurish and better suited to an audience that has never heard of a dinosaur.
Summary: What a disappointment this T-Rex in 3-D was. The best thing was the theater. It was cool on one of the hottest days of summer. Otherwise, the experience would have been a colossal waste of money.
I took my niece and nephew to see it and they are ... read more

Pros: excellent effects, montage, mood, scenery Cons: 3-D glasses had a thumb-print on them.
Summary: Although much of the plot was sort of "telegraphed", leaving pretty good clues as to what might happen next, WOW! Who cares? I love 3-D! I would have loved dinosaurs, if they had not died out long ago. Oh that's right, some did not. The ... read more

Pros: graphics Cons: boring
Summary: When I went to see this movie, it looked like it would be really great. My friends all told me it was boring, but I was like, "What do they know." So, I went on to see the movie. Sure, the graphics were great, but all and all, it was boring. ... read more

Pros: cool graphics, good kid movie Cons: dragged on, cheesy acting, little substance
Summary: "T-Rex; Back To The Cretaceous," was a wholesome family movie, and that was it. I guess it was rather entertaining, but for the most part, I could have been home watching the discovery channel.
Plot: A teenage girl helps out in a ... read more

Pros: nice, big screen... Cons: acting, script, realism, characters....

Pros: ending Cons: too educational
Summary: Please read this and save your money. Don't be screwed into viewing this. The plot is horrible. More corny than Farmer Johns lawn. It was somewhat an educational movie. The 3-D portion was the only enjoyable part. I would have rather watched any ... read more

Pros: good 3-D effect on T-Rex Cons: lousy plot and acting
Summary: This movie only kept my interest because of the great 3-D effect. The acting was awful and not much better than someone picked off the street could have done. The plot was just as bad, and way too hokey. However when it came to the T-Rex itself it was ... read more

Pros: Cool dinosaurs Cons: seems very long
Summary: When I went to go see the movie i thought it was going to be more about the T-rex. Instead I saw a sort of boring story about some girl. The movie probally only showed not even 15 min of the T-rex or any dinosaurs. I think the movie would have been so ... read more

Pros: Wonderful 3-D, great special effects, cartoon was great Cons: Pricey, head harness hurts, goofy movie plot
Summary: This movie put me back $28 for me, my wife, and two boys. The last time we went to a 3-D movie was while I was stationed in Germany. They had an Imax cinema there and the 3-D movies were good (only because of the 3-D)but they were in German. That ... read more

Pros: Great special effects Cons: Really lame acting and plot, plus it gave me a headache
Summary: Believe it or not, this movie was my first 3-D experience, but I'm not the only one who leaped out of my seat a few times. I went to see it at the brand-new Imax in Tulsa last Mother's Day. When we received the 3-D glasses at the entrance, my family's ... read more
