Pros: Good performance from Corey Feldman, great Tom Savini gore, and some solid direction make this one of the best entries in the series. Cons: Most of the cast is weak, the plotline is looking a bit threadbare at this point.

Pros: Brutal, Some Tense Moments, A Few Enjoyable Performances Cons: Mostly Just More of the Same
Summary: Slasher films might be considered the lowest common demoninator by most moviegoers and even fans of the horror genre, but I've been a fan of them as far back as I can remember. The first films that ever scared me belonged to this shallow off-breed of ... read more

Pros: Loads of nudity and some great gore gags Cons: It is 97 minutes long!
Summary: Ah, summer is upon us. Beaches and lakes beware of rapid teens and 20 somethings going crackers with booze, reefer and a bit of premarital sex. That is unless Jason gets wind of it. So grab a flashlight, let’s split up and avoid ... read more

Pros: Suspense, Scares, Gore, Cast, Finale Cons: None off the top of my head...
Summary: Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (part 4) is another installment in the Friday the 13th series. Of course it wasn't the final chapter, and this can confuse many movie rental places that put this film at the end of the shelf, even after Jason ... read more

Pros: It's one of the best in the franchise. Cons: Last entry in the series that has us afraid instead of cheering Jason on.
Summary: The Crystal Lake killer, known infamously as Jason Voorhees, has been around for 30 (and still counting) years! Man, who knew a mama's boy wearing a hockey mask, killing horny teenagers at a camp would last this long. Well, it has & the franchise ... read more

Pros: Pure slasher movie goodness in every department, an all-around epic feel. Cons: Most of the supporting characters are quite annoying.
Summary: The Friday The 13th series took the popular slasher sub-genre by storm in the early 1980s, with the infamous original film with it's gloriously gruesome death scenes and shocking ending, and it's two sequels featured Jason Voorhees, the seemingly ... read more

Pros: Lots of Tits and gore. Plus great acting. Cons: I can't really think of any.
Summary: I own this movie on VHS because I got it for 99 cents at a "flea market". I love this movie because of all the gore, and T&A, there is also great acting, but the thing that got to me was the fact that Jason looked different in this one. Mainly because ... read more

Pros: Music Cons: Utterly boring
Summary: I don't know about you, but to me a title like "The Final Chapter" suggests this is going to be the last movie in the series. And if I'm being honest about it, stopping the series here could have been a brilliant idea - this chapter itself even seems ... read more

Pros: Some cool scares, gore, interesting camera work, a good sequel (isn’t it rare?) Cons: Wooden performances, characters are stupid
Summary: Good sequels are hard to come by. Sure, Halloween 2 was good as well as Aliens, but when it comes to Friday The 13th sequels, they are the lamest and most uninspiring out of everything. One of the best movies of the whole series is ... read more
