Pros: A great comedy and drama. Cons: Might be dated for younger audiences.
Kid N' Play star in this hilarious comedy about late night party at Play's house. Conflict happens when Kid is grounded and faces moral choices, which his dad has instilled in him. This could have easily have been dumbed down for a boring teen comedy, ...

Pros: great music and dancing. Cons: Played the movie out with the later parts of the movie.
How many of you can not remember seeing this movie? It was one of the 80's hottest hits. All of my friends were watching it. Kid N Play were giving the teenager of the time what they wanted to see. It was a movie with good music, a touch of a romantic...

HOUSE PARTY: Best Party Film To Date
by s_shonta ,Jan 27 '05
Pros: Dance routines, full of laughs and all star cast Cons: None in my opinion
Directed by: Reginald Hudlin
Written by: Reignald Hudlin
Produced by: Warrington Hudlin
Genre: comedy/musical
House Party is one of those infectious, pleasing comedies that you will NEVER forget. It is starring the late 80's-early 1990's hip/hop duo Kid 'N Play. Kid (Christopher Reid) gets suspended from high school on the same night of the monster house party his best friend Play (Christopher Martin) is throwing while Play's parents are away. Kid gets grounded by his overbearing and irate father (the late Robin Harris) but sneaks out of the house anyway to attend. His motivations include proving his rapping skills as well as the opportunity to see two of the finest girls from high school Sidney(Tisha Campbell) and Sharane (A.J. Johnson). Bilal (Martin Lawrence!!) is their stinking breath annoying friend, but necessary because he is the D.J. Kid spends his entire night dodging the law, the school bullies and his father to enjoy this eminent HOUSE PARTY and still have time to fall inlove. This VHS or DVD belongs in everyone's collection.
Cast Members included:
Christopher Reid & Christopher Martin (Kid N Play)
Martin Lawrence
Tisha Campbell
A.J. Johnson
Full Force
Daryl "Chill" Mitchell
George Clinton
