Libya's Braveheart

Pros: Great hero/villain conflict; riveting battle scenes; Anthony Quinn!
Cons: Sometimes poor sound quality.
This is one of those rare obscure masterpieces that deserves much more attention than it got in the U.S. It probably didn't help that the real-life hero, Omar Mukhtar, was an Arab freedom fighter in Libya, not exactly one of the most popular countries...

Pros: lion of the desert is inexplicaby the best representation of the muslim belief
Cons: this movie is about old beliefs not present times.
the lion of the desert is a beutiful representation of the skill and determination of a society whos whole life is to do good and teach and promote fredoom in the aribec way. it has all the makings of a true story but not to negate what has already been...
