Best of Hammer's Mummy Films Series by gregturnbull ,Jun 24 '05
Pros: Lee, Cushing, and Hammer Style at its peak! Cons: Usual budget problems.
Easily the best of Hammer's long and not very distinguished series of Mummy films. Full of atmosphere & style, following their agreement with Universal Films. Great action scenes with Peter Cushing & Christopher Lee. Also features a very pretty leading lady, so good story, bags of Hammer style - what more could you ask for? The poster art is famous for featuring a scene NOT in the final film!
