Pros: great cast, funny moments, sweet story Cons: dated, a moment that borders on racism
Summary: Its hard for me to believe that its been twenty years since the release of the movie Splash - the film that launched Disneys Touchstone Films division. I can distinctly remember the buzz about the film when it was released. ... read more

Pros: Slight, funny, relaxing comedy about the romance of a Mermaid and a New Yorker. Cons: This film is not NINOTCHKA!
Summary: Do we believe that our Economy will expand forever? What about the Second Coming? Well, why not blonde Daryl Hannah as a mermaid who will rescue you from drowning --twice! -- and lavish you with love!?
I'll have a hard time manufacturing ... read more
