Pros: Marvelously staged, with opulent color, engaging story-telling, fine performances by Sabu, Duprez, and especially Veidt
Cons: John Juston's whining, obnoxious hero and some pompous themes and dialogue

Cons: The story lags, the transitions are clumsy and the dialogue is often campy.
