Pros: Preston Sturges' script and direction, played to a fare-thee-well by a great cast
Cons: Its stylishness might be off-putting to fans of in-your-face comedy...but hey, live a little!

Pros: Hollywood tradecraft; dialogue; character writing
Cons: cult material; too smart for Bubba; makes other stuff look bad
There are relatively few movies I watch multiple times; this is one of them.
Things I appreciate
(a) it's probably the last of the original screwball comedies: the upper classes displaying their feet of clay over sex
