Chow Yun Fat in John Woo's A Better Tomorrow 2

by Mike_Bracken Mike_Bracken is a Top Reviewer on Epinions in Movies, Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 50, Apr 18 '01
Pros: Excellent action sequences, solid direction, and good performances.
Cons: A bit overly melodramatic
A Better Tomorrow 2: Cinema City Film Prod.

No guns, no glory: John Woo's A Better Tomorrow II (Sequel was better W/O).

by shadow8 , Aug 26 '01
Pros: A ballistic, all-out film that'll blow you away; solid performances; entertaining to the max.

Pros: Poetic scenes of violence, by John Woo: Chow Yun Fat, Leung, Dean Shek, Lung Ti
Cons: EXTREMELY violent, translation not the best, but funny if you're in to that
This movie is a sequel to the first, obviously titled A Better Tomorrow, (1986)or in Cantonese Yinghung bunsik*, Hong Kong-based films by the legendary John Woo. (Hey he's still alive! Can he be called legendary?) It is one of the...
