Pros: Um...Alicia Silverstone, maybe? Cons: Just about everything else
I only saw Batman and Robin because my cable company upgraded their system and left all the movie channels turned on for a brief while. In retrospect, I would have been better off strapping kaleidoscopes to my eyes and going bungee-jumping--it would...

Pros: The visuals Cons: Inane dialog, overblown action sequences, and incoherent and derivative storytelling
Batman & Robin sets a good example of how a once successful film franchise can be run straight into the ground. For starters, the movie is awfully derivative from its predecessors. It takes a few lines of dialog (i.e. "I'm Batman!",...

Pros: cool scenery Cons: the actors
It took 'em three sequels, but they finally accomplished it: A $100 million Batman movie that's as cheesy as the old TV series. Audiences have supposedly been begging for a lighter tone in these movies (though you wouldn't guess it from the grosses). But...

Pros: You can pull the tape out and wrap presents with it Cons: What if someone tries to actually watch the movie?
If you think you're missing out and haven't seen an awful movie, fret no more! Batman and Robin can satisfy all the needs of anyone who is tired of watching good movies.
All I can say about this movie is "Bad." And I don't mean Bad...

Pros: A decent variety of actors. Cons: Completely unrealistic, unoriginal, and un-sequel-worthy!
Godawful till the end! Everything about it was so unrealistic and stupid-minded. Whoever wrote the script must have done it in one single night! I liked most of the actors in it, especially George Clooney, but Schumacher Joel did a horrible job...

Pros: Some good set design Cons: Horrible writing, atrocious acting
I'm as big a fan of the Batman franchise as any, but I think it's time for a mercy killing. Batman & Robin is easily the worst of the four recent Batman films. It's about on the level of the 1966 Batman movie; and that's no compliment. The '60s...

Pros: action Cons: too much talking
More hi-tech is about one of the few things that changed in this sequel. Of course, they threw in a few big named actors like Arnold, Uma, and Alicia, as well as Batman and Robin.
The story takes a turn when they have a new Bat in the lair,...

Pros: The scenes with Bruce Wayne were written fairly well, and Clooney looked the part of Bruce Wayne. Cons: Um...the rest of the movie.
Batman & Robin starts out GREAT! It looks brilliant, and the musical score is great! "This could be one of the best action films in years!" I say to myself as I watch this movie, then the title scene ends.
Okay, after the opening...

Pros: Basically, none. Cons: Everything else.
If you liked this movie, something has GOT to be wrong with you.
I don't mean that pejoratively, it was just that bad.
If you enjoy Arnold Schwarzenegger spouting 2nd grade puns like "Chill!" or "Cool party!"...

Pros: you can always stop the VCR Cons: the first 5 minutes will probably scar you for life
Joel Schumacher has directed a couple of decent films before, "Falling Down" is one of my favorites, and 8mm was Ok, but even could talk George Lucas into killing off "Jar Jar Binks" he should still be punished for this movie. I...

Pros: none Cons: everything
I loved the first two, liked the third, but this one killed Batman. Yes Batman is now dead. RIP Batman and take Robin and the rest of this insult of a movie with you. I am normally open to bad movies. My roommate can actually get me to laugh at Biodome...

Pros: Makes a good parody Cons: Everything
This movie was deep and complex only in that it was horrible on so many different levels. I could go on talking about it for hours but Ill try to be brief.
First, the scenery sucked. It looked like it should have eben the background for a highschool...

Pros: Impressive effects and production design. Cons: Joel Schumacher's inexplicably campy execution of Akiva Goldsman's already-horrid script.
Holy Bat-astrophe! The Batman film franchise as we know it is dead, thanks to Batman & Robin, director Joel Schumacher and screenwriter Akiva Goldsman's campy and most disrespectfully lighthearted reinterpretation of Bob Kane's Dark...

Pros: better than the first three Batman movies Cons: because of the fantasy violence parents should watch this movie with their children
After I had seen the first three movies, I couldn't wait to get the fourth one. The movie is awesome. The special effects is incredible. while watching it, I knew that I wouldn't be disappointed. The story content was the best especially towards the...
