Pros: Beautiful b-w photography, settings, Widmark at his vilest best, Anne Baxter never looked better. Cons: The unsophisticated viewer might balk at black-n-white; but do not short the film or yourself.

Pros: fine acting, fine cinematography Cons: predictable
Summary: Yellow Sky was released in 1948 and stars Gregory Peck, Anne Baxter, Harry Morgan, and Richard Widmark. The no nonsense western was directed by William Wellman and features a somewhat different hero than is usually found in this genre of that time.
