If you have read this book -RUN AWAY! If you have not read the book and are hoping for insight into this movie from my review, read the book, don't watch the movie. Rarely have I been so disappointed by a book to movie conversion. (Judge Dredd came a close second, but the special effects were fairly cool in that movie) The book is a rollicking read and quite compelling in many ways. The movie was the biggest bunch of drivel ever.. please.. spare us any future efforts like this. Even with a group of friends and a bunch of beer, I would not recommend this movie- really, it's that bad!
