Pros: It makes you have a real prospective Cons: In my opinion there is nothing wrong with the movie
Titanic is a very sad story. I personally loved the movie. The very first time I saw I thought this was unreal. How could this happen to an "un-sinkable ship." I was researching about the Titanic and I found an article that a woman that was on...

Pros: Excellent reproduction of titanic. Cons: Too long - not enough story
After all the hype surrounding this movie I eagerly waited, with millions of people, and watched this movie.
The camera-tography was excellent, you really felt that you were watching the Titanic sail the seas and not watching a simulation. The...

Pros: effects, sets, costumes Cons: acting, writing
The most expensive movie ever made is an extremely impressive and overwhelming experience, especially in a theater, and especially because everyone thought it would sink (no pun intended). However, it’s very telling that of the Oscar nominations it...

Pros: Special effects wizardry Cons: Long, and the writing at times seems too well planned
This movie won Best Picture not because of its merit, simply because of its hype. I will admit, the special effects utalized in this movie did deserve the praise they received, but beyond that this film is nothing but a hackneyed love story based around...

Pros: Splendid special effects and positively entertaining Cons: too long considering we all know the outcome
My brother and I went to see this movie, because we wanted to know what the buzz over this film was. We had heard people were seeing this film over and over. I swear, when the movie started and Leonardo DiCaprio emerged onto the screen, the theater...

Pros: It's Big Cons: It didn't need to be made
Titanic, the word conjures up images of big, majestic. This movie was big, a big bore. How this movie captured the world is beyond me. So much hype and so little content. When will Hollywood get real and make movies about real tragedies? Such as...

Pros: good special effects, wardrobe Cons: typical American cliche' unrealistic love story
Yes, the effects were great, yes a lot of time and energy was put into detail to gain the authenticity of things such as the layout of the ship and the china. But what about the authenticity of the story...yes there was a couple that had the same names,...

Pros: excellent storyline with great realistic sense Cons: can't think of any
Of course, what we all waiting for in 'Titanic' is for it to sink. James Cameron has spent $200 million on a movie and it's a fantastic, he's finally had it. It was all going to be a great deal of fun.
DiCaprio is Jack, a "poor boy"...

Pros: brings a "what is must have been like" from history into something one can see and nealy experience for themselves. Cons: parts of the movie were a bit dark during our viewings and sound seems to change. Pay close attention to the dialog or you will miss something.
I am not really a "chic flick" type....but I am one that enjoys a "tragic love". That is what I think this movie to be about. I enjoyed the twist of the old woman seeing the drawing and then "remembering" the tale as it...

Pros: realism of effects - heart string manipulation Cons: grand scale on a small screen doesn't translate well
One day I'll be able to tell my children that I wanted to see and actually saw Titanic before all of the major hoopla started. (What an accomplishment, eh?)
It saddens me to hear such cruel criticism of this movie because this or that was left out :...

Pros: Sitting thru it and keeping quiet might get you sex afterwards Cons: She'll still be thinking of Leonardo
Anyone who spends their money, or close to 3 hours of their life watching this trite, prefabricated example of cinematic demise needs to be locked on the 3rd class deck and go down with the rest of the ship. Aside from that, P.S. Eienstien, you already...

Pros: Everything! Cons: None really.
When this movie first came out about almost 3 years ago. I didn't get around to see it. But a few days ago it was shown on TV, so I poped in a tape to recorded it to watch is later.
When I got around to watch the whole thing I'll tell...

Pros: Very Well Told/Best Actors/Actresses Cons: none
If there is anyone who hasnt seen this movie, and i'm sure there are still a few stubborn people out there, you have to see It. Many people are still stuck on the idea that the original Titanic movie, which I've seen several times, is the only Titanic...

Pros: great movie Cons: makes you cry at the end
Titanic...my favorite movie, not only because it stars Leonardo DiCaprio, but because of the story. I would do anything to find a love like Rose felt for Jack. At first, she felt like he was a dirty nobody, but as she got to know him, she loved him....

Pros: It's on DVD now, you can hit pause and not miss a thing. Cons: There will never be a sequel.
James Cameron's portrayal of this historical event may have been a titanic attempt to earn some big bucks. With that being an obvious first impression, let's delve, not into Hollywood's desire to produce mega blockbusters, with glamor and over the ...
