Pros: Nice location shots, Brosnan certainly looks the part... Cons: Rotten script, bad acting by the women, and an unbelievable bad guy...
Having finally found out that there was indeed going to be a 20th Bond flick, I suddenly recalled that I had never gotten around to reviewing the third (so far) film with Pierce Brosnan cast as 007.
I waited for this one to come out on video...

Pros: Brosnan as Bond. Early action sequences. Cons: Explosions/Gunfire scenes too frequent. Very lame dialogue and scenarios. Denise Richards?
The World in Not Enough features Pierce Brosnan as James Bond 007, appearing in the third of his four "James Bond" films. The movie starts out strongly with Bond dealing with an unscrupulous banker who possesses money stolen from oil-tycoon Robert ...

Pros: Denise Richards underwater in a tank top Cons: Weak final fight scene
Being that this is the 20th sequel in the James Bond series, I got to give credit that they are able to keep this up. James Bond is what every guy wishes he cold be - the international player. He drives the newest cars, has the best toys, and gets all...

Pros: Strong, credible story; more three-dimensional characters; Brosnan at his best; two excellent Bond women Cons: Robert Carlyle underutilized as Renard; mediocre henchmen; saying farewell to Desmond Llewelyn
No doubt, I'm in a minority on this one. In my opinion, The World Is Not Enough is the best of the Brosnan-era Bond films to date. It was the third film in which Pierce Brosnan took the role as James Bond and the twentieth film in the series ...

Pros: Action/Adventure candy movie - what you see is what you get. Cons: Tired serial - with tons of sexual jokes.
Face it – James Bond is a pretty lucky guy. He may suffer from some pulled muscles from time to time – or an injured collar bone. But he is still able to perform his duties, shoot the bad guys, avoid machine guns, play with cool technology and of...

Pros: Promising Cast That Offers Decent Performances, Action, Some Suspense, World Dominance, Greed, Revenge, A Very Slight Plot Twist, And Let's Not Forget The James Bond Babes. Cons: Dialogue Is Lame/Corny At Times, Pointless Violence, Action Scenes Are Less Than Memorable, And The Fact That The James Bond Formula Was Thrown Out The Window.
Well, I think my title basically said it all. The World Is Not Enough Was Not Enough. What I mean exactly is that James Bond just dropped the seven in double "O" seven. What does that leave you with? I'll tell you what it leaves you with. It...

Pros: This one doesn't quite make the grade. Cons: Nudity, violence, language and overall rating not good.
If you are like me, you probably will enjoy any Bond film when it comes on the market. Just like all the other films I have enjoyed this one immensely. The critics have underrated and under appreciated this movie. I do not know how they can rate ...

Pros: Sophie Marceau, Pierce "Remington Steele" Brosnan Cons: Just about everything else -- uninspired action, villain, Denise Richards...
Like most guys, I have been a huge James Bond fan at some point in my life. As a kid, my brother and I watched film after film, and it was always good, solid entertainment. Somewhere along the way, I lost interest in James Bond. It was probably that...

Pros: Its a James Bond Movie Cons: Too slow for people with short attention spans!
I am a James Bond movie fan. I have faithfully watched each James Bond movie since I was old enough to count my change to pay admission to the theater. I have never questioned any of the motives or plots in any 007’s past flicks. But then I saw “The...

Pros: Good action sequences and gadgets Cons: Q retires, sexual references too straightforward.
My wife, being a long-time James Bond fan, told me last weekend we were required to report to the box office and pay our tri-annual homage to Ian Fleming's legacy. Having packed the youngster over to grandma's for an afternoon of Age of Empires,...

Pros: Good action, nice DVD presentation, Sophie is darn easy on the eyes...ahem Cons: Wacky plot, Thick headed Bond, Denise Richards
Well, it's not the worst Bond movie ever.
But that ain't for a lack of trying.
The World Is Not Enough once again stars Pierce Brosnan as the suave super agent James Bond, in his third outing. While full of the typical over...

Pros: I like the James Bond music. Cons: I had to watch this movie to hear it.
OK, so everything is in place for the latest James Bond cash cow, right? We have the beautiful women who couldn't act fat if they were pregnant, the increasingly retarded gadgets, the pointless opening sequence, the totally evil villains, and some of the...

Pros: Passably entertaining Cons: Starts with "D" and ends with "Enise Richards"
Pierce Brosnan, with his snakely stare, ever-clenched jaw and clipped gait, has, in three films now, played iconic James Bond as a grudge-bearing hit man given to the occasional pun. The latest franchise entry treats the secret agent like "The...

Pros: Brosnan, Marceau, song, action Cons: Uneven pace, Carlyle, forgettable locales, Cleese (perhaps)
Fitting somewhere in-between Brosnan’s first two 007 outings, this film isn’t as fast-paced or slickly entertaining as “Tomorrow Never Dies” , but is thankfully a bit shorter than “Goldeneye” , and although rather forgettable in the grand ...

Pros: Professional production all around Cons: Christmas Jones, less than Bondian villians
It can be said that Bond's best moments came in the sixties, when Sean Connery was the world's most dashing secret agent. But even without Connery, the series (with the occasional lapse)continues to deliver the best action films around. Bond is the...
