Cons: Confusing if watched for the first time.

Summary: Just like the title says. Every time this movie is on TV, you bet i'll be watching it. Fight Club is a bit violent and pushes you out of your comfort zone, but it also takes you into an underworld full of mystery and suspense. It is not for the faint of ... read more

Summary: Before I bought Fight Club I was sceptical to say the least.  A film about a club of people who fight?  Sounds like a fairly dull topic on which to base a film unless you're into watching guys beat each other up.  I mean how can you build ... read more

Pros: Good story, acting, narration, and interesting plot twist at the conclusion
    Cons: None.

Summary: I’ve avoided watching this film steadily for years. Friends have sung its virtues to my unheeding ears. Oh yes, I assured them, I’m sure that it’s well done and all that malarkey, but a club dedicated to fighting? As Austin Powers would ... read more

  • Fight Club is full of action, drama, and philosophy.

Rated a Helpful Review by the Epinions community
    Oct 15, 2007
    Pros: Thought Provoking Wonderful Invigorating
Cons: You must pay attention to the plot in order to enjoy the eccentricity of it.

Summary: The twists and turns in the narrator's life is thrilling. The script and screenplay is truly faithful to Chuck Palahniuk's book and is full of droplets of nihilistic philosophy. The story brings the narrator from the typical cubicle office worker into ... read more

Cons: 1) Can be a little bloody 2) Or not enough (depending on what you expected)

Summary: Don't let the ads fool you - Fight Club is NOT primarily a guy's movie. While women may also have been drawn to it via Pitt's abs of steel, that's not quite what I mean either. The movie, while having been promoted as a macho action flick with ... read more
