Because I hate to know the entire plot of a movie before I've seen it, I will not give details of this movie in my review. I purposely didn't read any reviews before I saw it for that some reason. All I wanted to know is, 'Is this movie REALLY good?...

Pros: Makes you believe in magic and miracles again.

I should have known what to expect. I had read the books, all six volumes, after all. But all the purpose that served was to get my emotions on edge and I was crying five minutes into the movie...I swear. This was almost as emotional for me to watch...

Pros: Gives you an insight to prison/death row life.
Cons: Unresolved questions of who John Coffey really was.

"The Green Mile" is a rated "R" movie and definitely only for adults, containing some scenes inappropriate for children. (violent, harsh language, and sexual content)
