Pros: Sandra Bullock Cons: the movie
I love Sandra Bullock but this movie overall was a great disappointment to me. It starts showing how bad that alcoholism is for her. Then goes on to show that rehabilitation for alcoholics is difficult but redeeming for some.
The plot was...

Pros: Cute, Sandra Bullock is her usual professional self, realism but lightened Cons: I'm not picky
This is a good movie. It's good for everybody. It has the funny scenes and the poignant, but, hidden within it, is a psychological test everybody can take. It may be part of the movie to move the script along and to show Sandra Bullock's progression...

Pros: Sandra can play something besides the cute girl next door Cons: plot, jokes, writing
As a huge Sandra Bullock fan, I rushed right out to see this movie. Well, Miss. Bullock did not disappoint me but I felt the script was lacking.
The beginning of the movie was mildly amusing: Sandra ruins her sisters wedding in a series of...

Pros: Sandra Bullock; the opening; some funny lines; doesn't feel like 28 hours or 280 minutes Cons: A little been-there-done-that and glossy
What better way to open a movie about rehab than The Clash's "Should I Stay or Should I Go?" accompanying a busy, colorful party scene? Before we know it, Sandra Bullock's Gwen is on her way to her sister Lily's wedding. Her boyfriend says something...

Pros: Great thought provoking movie Cons: Non
I saw this movie and first of all I want to say that I would recommend this one to see again.
Sandra played her roll to a "T". She was great in her roll as an alchoholic.
Gwen Cummings (Sandra Bullick) was a succesful...

Pros: Sandra Bullock is outstanding. Cons: Some cliches.
Sandra Bullock is outstanding in this story of an alcoholic writer unwilling to accept her addiction. Her portrayal of Gwen's denial clearly establishes Ms. Bullock as a talented actress. Although I felt that her roommate was too cliche (think...

Pros: Sandra Bullock Cons: Story Line Was Lacking, Not One Of Sandra Bullocks Better Movies She Has Acted In
I recently watched "28 Days" & I personally thought this movie was not one of Sandra Bullock's beast acting performances. I have seen her in the movie "Speed" which I liked her in. Also seen her in the movie "The...

Pros: Sandra Cons: BORING!!!
I know most of you rated this movie highly recommended, but I have to say that I don't agree with you. This movie left me feeling like I was "cheated". There was no plot, no great ending, no surprises and no great love story. Other than the...

Pros: New character Ms. Bullock pulled off well Cons: Unexplained situations
Sometimes I see previews and they give me the chills. Some even make me cry! This one definitely gave me chills, but was rather disappointed. Before I go on, let me explain that I did see this movie at noon on a friday and so there weren't too many...

Pros: An emotional ride that will address the problems of chemical dependance. Cons: They could of focused a bit on one or two specifics.
The out-cast, partier and sometimes sister is forced into drug and alcohol rehab by the courts after an accident. Your emotions will be taken on a ride for sure. There are just way to many story lines they try to squeeze into this film.

Pros: Shows the funny side of recovery Cons: Realistic View of an Addict in action
As a recovering addict, alcoholic curiosity took me to see this movie but funny blibs and realistic, all to real scenes kept me in my seat. This was definitely a movie I related to. From the beginning (ruining a friends/sisters wedding) to the end...

Pros: Pretty close to the facts Cons: A few plot holes
I wanted to see this movie because of the subject matter. I have been a fan of Sandra since Speed, and this movie looked interesting to see because I know a relative who had to go in rehab.
The movie itself has a few plot holes and some Humor....

Pros: good acting, excellent story line, memorable characters Cons: things don't always turn out the way you want
I loved this movie. I rented with my best friend one day when we decided to pick a movie our husbands weren't too eager to see and the two of us sat and laughed and cried and had a great time! (So, I guess this would be the one to rent with your...
