Pros: Eddie Murphy Portrays An Entire Family Cons: Lacks Originality
In spite of his crude and often stereotypical humor, I have always found Eddie Murphy to be extremely entertaining. However, The Nutty Professor II failed to meet the high expectations I had for it. Although there were several funny sequences, this...

Pros: Eddie Murphy Cons: Sexually oriented jokes ruin tone of film
One of Eddie Murphy's strongest attributes as a comedian is his ability to play a number of different roles in one movie. In films such as "Coming To America" and "Bowfinger," Murphy has convincingly proven he can take on multiple...

Pros: Few holes in the plot... Cons: Eddie played too many roles.
To be fair, it was a good movie. There was a solid plot, with few, if any, holes. The main actors are both well known. (Eddie Murphy as approximately eight different characters) and Janet Jackson as his girlfriend/fiance.
Overall:

Pros: The profanely hilarious Klump family scenes were marvels of technical wizardry and makeup. Cons: Ick. I feel dirty.
A few weekends ago my mother had to get surgery, and I spent a great deal of time trying to distract her and cheer her up. (The surgery went well, the results were good, and she’s in perfect health now.) I also needed a little cheering of my own due to...

Pros: Eddie earns maybe two sincere laughs. Cons: Everything. This movie is just awful.
While the original 'Nutty' was a slight, sweet and very funny affair, the sequel avoids any semblance of what made the first one a pretty darn good comedy. Unfunny jokes are fired at an assaulting pace, while Murphy takes on 7 different roles and fails...

Pros: Let's face it, it's funny. Cons: Stupid, crass, lewd and disgusting.
If you've ever dreamed of being molested by an animal, getting it on with someone's grandma, or lighting your own flatulence, this is the movie for you. If not, you may still actually find yourself taking some guilty enjoyment in it.
The...

Pros: Murphy's performances are all winning Cons: Disgusting, auto-pilot comedy
The only real draw of Eddie Murphy's first Nutty Professor movie was watching the veteran comedian come to life as an entire family of miscreants during the scenes featuring the Klumps. Granted, all that comedic energy was wasted on a decathlon of...

Pros: a few good laughs, a talented actor Cons: weak story, too sexual, not as funny as the first
My stepfather bought this movie the other day. I had seen "The Nutty Professor" with Eddie Murphy and couldn't miss the sequel. When my stepfather offered to let me take it home I couldn't wait.
I got the tape home and sat back...

Pros: Hilarious as the first, amazing makeup job to create characters Cons: Over use some jokes a bit
Think of a serious, intellectually stimulating film that makes you think or learn something new as nutrition for your brain. That would be the main course. Nutty Professor II: The Klumps, on the other hand, could be considered dessert, a quick...

Pros: funny, great make up, Murphy's acting Cons: some of the jokes from the first part
OK, I'll admit it, I laughed.
In fact, I laughed so much I missed some of the movie. Normally, I am into movies that no one else is, but, for some reason, I have a weak spot for the Klumps, especially grandmother's character. ...

Pros: Eddie's ability to play numerous characters Cons: too many crude comments and scenes
I have pondered this movie all night and tried to pick it apart enough to write a positive and upbeat review since this movie is so full of laughs. I enjoyed all the hilarity it involved and the antics that were played out; but I came away feeling less...

Pros: --- Cons: ---
You know you really like a movie when you become able to recite every word from a particular scene in a film word for word. Over the years, I’ve seen many films that have made me experience that phenomenon. However, I can’t really remember one that...

Pros: a few funny scenes Cons: bland/ typical/weak, cop out ending
I never go to the movies unless the movie I am going to see is something that I really want to see. I have tried to sit and think of a movie that I have really wanted to see enough to prompt a trip to the theatres during the past year but there isn't...

Pros: Some funny scenes, the giant hamster Cons: Silly plot, overdone product shots, crude humor at times
Eddie Murphy attempts to expand the Klumps into supporting an entire movie. Both Eddie and the Klumps come up a little short. This movie is something like one of those Saturday Night Live spinoff movies that tries to take a popular character extend it,...
