Pros: High quality art and voice-acting coupled with likeable characters and engaging plots. Cons: Occasionally overdoses on sugar; subtitles may put some viewers off.
As someone who has unfortunately scant time for television as a whole, Ive never really been able to sit down and fully appreciate most things on the air, let alone the large amount of anime hitting the screen (unless the occasional Pokemon episode ...
Pros: Good stories, great production values, too cute for words. Cons: Japanese-only track may turn off very small children. May be too cute for some viewers.
Anyone who's caught a glimpse of the Cardcaptors TV show knows that the lovely art and animation are head and shoulders above those of most Saturday morning mainstays. What's less widely known is that the episodic, boy-hero Cardcaptors...
Pros: well drawn, funny, good plot, not too violent, not inappropriate graphically Cons: 4 episodes per DVD - 17-18 dvds would be the whole series
Good for Children
There are many complaints about anime from parents : they say that it is far too graphic in its depiction of violence and sex. On many accounts, I would completely agree with them. There are many shows that I enjoy that I...
Pros: Superb Characters, Wild Story, Great Voices, Excellent CLAMP art, etc. Cons: Nothing At All

Pros: Great Anime for your Kid side ^_^ Cons: Embarrising anime if your my age to talk about around others =)
As you might know, Card Captor Sakura has just started showing in the US. This is a great anime. It might look like its for Girls ages 8-11, but I am a 17 year old BOY and i think this is a great anime. Alot of people i know on mIRC (Chat program)...
Pros: Wonderful series that will really catch your attention. Cons: A LOT of episodes. Make time to finish watching.
My fiancee and I have watched all 18 discs of this series, and both movies. It captivated us ! We were actually sad when the series ended, because you get very attached to the characters. There is a lot of character development, and the story moves fast enough that it's interesting, but slow enough so that it allows you to get familiar with the characters. It starts out as what seems like a cutesy series for children, but by the end develops into something much deeper and more meaningful.
