Pros: Bullock is a laugh riot as a tough but vulnerable FBI agent. Cons: Candace Bergen plays Murphy Brown playing an ex-beauty queen. Predictable storyline.
OK, off the bat let's get something straight. This is not high-brow comedy. It is not Academy Award winning acting. It is not genius level writing. It is good fun and lots of laughs.
In Miss Congeniality, Sandra Bullock plays a...

Pros: Sandra is adorable, a surprisingly funny Micheal Caine. Cons: You can't take anything in this plot seriously!
This review may seem a bit biassed to you; you may look at this pile of words on the screen and wonder how this snobby elitist, who boldly ignores popular trends so he could watch some obscure artsy-fartsy flick from some strange country nobody has ever...

Pros: Very funny. I died laughing Cons: kind of corny
I felt like laughing, and I thought that this movie might do the trick. To my surprise, it was even funnier than I thought it would be.
Sandra Bullock plays a ratty, clumsy, messy FBI agent named Gracie. She sees herself as "one of the...

Pros: Funny, lighthearted, does not attempt to make any great political statement. Cons: Some mild profanity and a bit of innuendo.
"Miss Congeniality" deserves a thumbs-up if for no other reason than we get to see the beautiful Sandra Bullock looking like a shapeless frump. That does any woman's heart good, let me tell you. And there is no deep message here, either, no grand...

Pros: Funny Movie. Cons: None Really
Gracie Hart (Sandra Bullock of "28 Days"), a tomboyish FBI agent, is 'unladylike' in the worst way possible-- she talks while chewing food, she snorts like a pig when she laughs, she lacks any shred of grace and poise, and to quote Ms. Hsuan on...

Pros: Great Humor, Bullock and Caine are Excellent Cons: Simple Plot
I was doubtful about this movie, figuring that most of the funny bits had already been shown in the movie trailers. My wife and I felt like seeing a movie, and after looking at the dismal list of options, decided to see this one. What the heck, I...

Pros: 111 minute runtime, excellent gags Cons: might give some legitimacy to the make-over shows that populate daytime television
Sandra Bullock, as Gracie Hart/Gracie Lou Freebush is able to be a heroine to many in this light-hearted feature that pokes fun at federal agents, beauty queens, feminists, and strong women everywhere. This film has some pleasant surprises that is sure...

Pros: Sandra Bullock, Benjamin Bratt Cons: Weak plot
Sandra Bullock is charming and adorable in this comedy about an undercover FBI agent at a beauty pageant. Bullock plays Gracie, a tough as nails, hard hitting agent who has always been one of the guys and likes it that way. Her best friend in the FBI...

Pros: Sandy Cons: Weak Villians
**sigh** I love Sandra Bullock. I love her hair, her body, her nose, and her smile. I would pick the lint from her navel, clean the cheese from between her toes and eat the corn from her .... - you get the idea. Ever since "While you were...

Pros: Good acting, plot, pacing, effects, etc. Cons: This isn't real life ... or is that a plus?
Gracie Hart (Sandra Bullock) is a tomboyish, klutzy, but extremely intelligent FBI agent in NYC. Her boss (Ernie Hudson, not nearly as likeable as in Ghostbusters) wants to sack her, but suddenly a case comes up that needs her. A Unibomber-type...

Pros: great, funny, and Sandra Bullock! Cons: nothing comes to my mind
Before I say anything I will say that in this review, I do tell who Miss America turns out to be, though i do not tell who the citizen is.
I read about 7 other reviews on Miss Congeniality, and i have to say only about 2 people actually enjoyed this...

Pros: Comedy, plot, characters Cons: Nothing
I loved this movie and feel it is one of Sandra Bullock's best yet. I mean, it is a big recovery after "28 Days." She looked awful in this movie before she was fixed up to be a beauty queen and what a beauty queen she was, and stumbling in...

Pros: Sandra, Benjamin, script Cons: None
This is the Sandra we all know and love. She can be dramatic, sensitive or comic. She is one of the best actresses in Hollywood. This movie is funny and touching, it even has an explosion!
The directing was well done, and the cast well...

Pros: Very funny film with a bit of reality etched into the fantasy Cons: Some poor supporting role performances
I saw this movie because I knew I might strongly identify with the lead character. While I have seen many disappointing movies that promised to make sense out of the sort of life I've lived, this one actually managed to express, in an entertaining way,...
