Pros: Good premise and decent acting... Cons: Bad execution...
Flipping through my DirecTV one fine afternoon I noticed a film was showing on IFC. I vaguely remembered reviews of the film, and was (as always) curious about this little movie that seemed to get resoundingly positive feedback. Admittedly, Lost and ...
Pros:Piper Perabo - this is the same chick from Coyote Ugly??? Cons: That the entire world has not seen this.
If you read the VHS/DVD box, you might be tempted to think that this is a soft-core porn feature. This isn't a story about sex. And it's not a story about lesbians. It's a story about passion, passion that knows no bounds and has no limits. Passion...
Pros: Piper Perabo, the story, and the affect it had on me Cons: I dare you!
My straight friend Mike and I were walking out of Lost and Delirious with a crowd of queer youth. I forced the tears somewhere to the back of my mind and through those tears I remember Mike’s attempt to strike the discussion. Upon calling it...
Pros: Great acting, Realistic romance, Daring filmmaking! Cons: Confusing and inconclusive ending really brings the film down.
Forgive me for the title. Think of it as a leader into what sounds like an exploitative film, but is in reality a thoughtful film about deep love among adolescents. There is some nudity in a sex scene between two girls who are young enough to look like...
Pros: Piper Perabo, Jessica Pare, great passion and melodrama. Cons: Too melodramatic for some, some occassional triteness in dialogue
Lost and Delirious is a Canadian film directed by Lea Pool (Anne Trister, Set Me Free), in what I think is her first English-language feature. It’s quite a movie, and while it has flaws, and will surely be too melodramatic for many people, I thought...
Pros: A dazzling performance by Piper Perabo Cons: The ending is suspect.
I must confess, "Lost and Delirious" stirred up
alot of memories. Watching Piper Perabo on screen,
I was reminded of a gal that I met in a parallel
universe. If a film can touch my heart, it must
have done something right.

Pros: Powerful performances, well written, compelling characters Cons: The ending
Lost and Delirious
I've been so busy this past week trying to find out what happened to two of my recent IMDB submissions, working, and attending sneak previews, that I totally forgot to post the review for one of the best premieres I've seen...
Pros: Powerful, emotional, well crafted Cons: Liberal, disturbing, naked, mice get eaten
I am going to be very honest and up front here, okay. I feel like it will have some affect on my credibility, but nonetheless, I feel compelled to tell the truth.
My roommate called me at work and told me he had rented a movie about...
Pros: Excellent acting, characterizations, production values. Cons: Downer of a storyline.
LOST AND DELIRIOUS is supposedly based on Susan Swan's 1993 novel "The Wives of Bath" but it actually appears to owe an equal debt to Fatal Attraction, Personal Best, The Well of Loneliness, and maybe The Childrens' Hour. This film was the first...
Pros: the relationship between the 2 girls,
well-pictured emotions and feelings Cons: the story could be the same without the main character, some sad pathetic moments
Ive just saw Lost & Delirious on DVD.
The story is about a girls boarding school.. and of course (like in all boarding schools) involves lesbians. The main character is a girl (nickname:Mouse) whose mum passed away 3 years ago and now her father...
Pros: Piper Perabo! GREAT information given! Cons: The ending really.
This movie is one of my favorites! I loved this film before I saw it. Honestly, I did. I went online and read a film see-er's script of it. I love the emotions the film brings out and the truth of same sex relations. With the input of the teachers and...
Sad, Happy, Romantic, Perfect In Every Way by parasite_goth ,Feb 12 '05
Pros: I would quote the whole movie here as a pro but I lack the space. Cons: None, period.
I simply love this movie, and having watched it nearly 200 times since I purchased it two years ago, I can definitely say that I am not just saying that for effect. It is an adaptation of the Wives of Bath, but that does not detract from its uniqueness nor its effect. I would dare to venture that this serves as one of the best and saddest love lost stories to grace the often mischaracterized homosexual theme movie genre. In a world that seems to discount loving differently as a fad or the subject of porn, this movie brutally and efficiently shows that there are real emotions involved. I do not want to get on a diatribe about the merits and flaws of gay film making so I shall say only this, there is no movie that offers a better, more heartwarming, sadder, or complete movie about this topic that I have seen or think I will ever see. If you have doubts about this film or the subject, watch this film and see what love is all about.
