Pros: Kiddie-friendly entertainment, music score & songs. Cons: Strange mix of animation styles, unconvincing voice acting.
Spirit Stallion of the Cimarron is a charming eco-friendly anti-colonisation animated tale of the Wild West that wears its heart firmly on its sleeve. From the same studio that brought us ...

Pros: A great kids' movie, fantastic animation, and an anti-Disney way of looking at things, music Cons: Some of you claim to not be kids . NOT ME! Otherwise nothing
I am beginning to wonder whats up with American Audiences. Have we become such drones that we cant appreciate the wonder of our world, and GET the message of this beautiful little film? Not one of those movies that had 40 million behind the...

Pros: Good colors. Cons: Narrow world view. Over-the-top in many places.
They must have a lot of white guys working over at Dreamworks (-: Now, I dont have a problem with white guys. My two boys would fall under that category for the most part, but I sure hope my boys would have a bigger view of the world than what...

Pros: Beautiful Music, Magnificient Video illustrations Cons: Too many plots of capture and violence can overwhelm younger viewers
Oddly enough one of the last movies that we were able to watch on our living room television before the picture tube went out was Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron.
While I had watched bits and pieces of this video many times over the past few...

Pros: Freedom and spirit rules. Cons: Bryan Adams.
My fiancée said to me I always cry during Disney movies. Well guess what I told her, this is not a Disney movie! And yet better I tell you, is that it has the same charm and same emotional attachment that the great Disney movies had...

Pros: Animation and computer effects, characters you care about Cons: Some parts of plot are repeated too much
It seems like it has been so long since the release of a good family film. I knew I would be taking the kids to see Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. One of my 11 year old’s friends even wanted to come along. They have been waiting impatiently for...

Pros: Stunning, better-than-Disney animation Cons: One or two too many capture sequences
SPIRIT: STALLION OF THE CIMARRON is one of those movies which begged for massive promotional efforts. Nowhere was this more true than in my neck of the woods.
We have a relatively new multiplex here in Hodgkins. The manager of said multiplex...

Pros: animation, horses interacting Cons: some kids may become bored with it, but not likely.
Spirit: Stallion of the Cimmaron is a film that I will remember for its sweeping, breathtaking animation and its lively story told from a horse’s point of view.
I was very impressed with the studio of DreamWorks for taking on...

Pros: Nice-looking backgrounds and decent animation Cons: The only pros are nice-looking background and decent animation. Doesn't that tell you something?
To borrow a line from Roger Ebert's review of North: "I hated, hated, HATED this movie". I got paid to screen Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron" last night and I still got ripped off.
Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron is...

Pros: Visually exquisite, Disney quality animation and backgrounds; worthwhile message about freedom, loyalty and kindness. Cons: Some misrepresentation of believable horse behavior. Some admittedly awkward plot devices.
In some refreshing aspects, Spirit dared to depart from the typical Disney-style animal stories.
First, I appreciated the absence of talking animals. What was once entertaining and original in the 1930's through '50's has become hackneyed....

Pros: Pros: Wonderful animation, lively characters, a rich story, some awesome music! Cons: Cons: Bryan Adam's singing, Spirit's childhood is rushed.
I have to say that i had my doubts about Spirit Stallion of the Cimarron. I wasn't sure what i would think of the movie considering i've read reviews to both the good and not so good extremes. Fortunately, i was pleasantly surprised after renting the...

Pros: flow, unique point of view Cons: soundtrack is a bit corny, not a comedy (as many kid's movies are)
Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, directed by Tim Chau, is an animated tale following a mustang in the Old West. The movie follows the hero, Spirit, as he matures in the freedom of the open West, only to have his life changed by European/American...

Pros: Good animation, no talking animals and a sweet story. Cons: Damon's narration is occasionally drab.
Dreamworks studio’s animation arm has been a hit and miss production company. While Shrek was a box office smash, The Road to El Dorado has been considered a box office and critical disappointment. The film was said to be derivative of other animation...
