Pros: Two heroes that grow on you, great visuals, and quite a story underneath it all. Cons: There isn't any, really.
Frank Abagnale Jr (Leonardo DiCaprio) is charming, and has more than just a glib tongue on him. He's got charisma, and in spades. And he can spin a lie out and reel you right in.
Pros: Acting, direction, detail Cons: I would have liked more closure with one character
The best way to describe the criminal years of Frank Abagnale, Jr., is to compare him to Robin Hood. Until his mid-teens, Frank (Leonardo DiCaprio) had led a life of privilege in the early sixties. His father, Frank, Sr. (Christopher Walken), owned a...
Pros: Solid acting from both Dicaprio and Hanks... Cons: Anticlimactic, flawed source material, not a good message for anyone...
On New Year’s Day, 2003, my wife went with her mom and sisters to see “Catch Me If You Can,” billed as a sort of chase-thriller-comedy starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks…and directed by Steven Spielberg. This combination had the potential to be ...
Pros: That's some pretty slick stuff he did. Cons: Who cares?
Seems like all I've seen for the last week is hype around this Catch Me If You Can. First there was the preview. Then, a cardboard still set up in the movie theater, cleverly placed so that you see it on the way out, not in. (Ya know, so you...
Pros: Full of style, fun, and pizzazz Cons: Feels like a pit stop before Spielberg does something more important
Steven Spielberg's latest film, Catch Me If You Can begins at a Rotary Club awards banquet in New Rochelle, NY. The smarmy Rotary President is giving an award to Frank Abagnale Sr. (Christopher Walken). In the front row, Frank Abagnale Jr....
Pros: Fantastic story, well acted out by Di Caprio and Walken Cons: Drags a little in places
In The Talented Mr. Ripley, Matt Damon explains: “I’d rather be a fake somebody than a real nobody.” In many ways, that seems to explain the motivation behind Steven Spielberg’s movie adaptation of the Frank Abagnale story. ...
Pros: great performances, clever, fun Cons: not enough Walken
Poor Leonardo DiCaprio. It must be hard to go from the most popular guy in Hollywood to the laughingstock is just months. Leo was a victim of his own success, grinning out from king-size posters, whispering fervently on that annoyingly spoilerific ...
Catch Me if You Can is one of those movies that defies classification. It is part character study, part cop and robber chase, and even part buddy picture. And while it isn't perfect, all the pieces really seem to hold together. Frank Abagnale ...
Pros: Walken, Spielberg's direction, the true story, Hanks, DiCaprio in that order Cons: The skinny hairless boy problem
For a movie that wont require a marathon of heavy brainwork on the part of the audience, and offers some genuine entertainment, CATCH ME IF YOU CAN is a good way to spend a couple of hours. I am glad I waited for this to be released in DVD...
Pros: exceptional acting, famous actors, how much I had to pay to get in... Cons: unrealistic plot
It was a Saturday night and I didnt feel like staying home with my wife and daughter in front of the tv set watching Bill Cosby. Instead, I came online to check the show times of a long-time anticipated movie: Catch Me If You Can. My wife and I had...
Pros: A smart, interesting & vibrant film. Cons: None.
Catch Me If You Can is the wonderful new film from director Steven Spielberg that was inspired by the true life story of Frank Abagnale Jr (Leonardo DiCaprio), whose world was torn upside down due to the financial and marital difficulties as faced...
Pros: Hanks, Di Caprio, Walken... interesting plot for the most part, the end sequence is superb Cons: Plot inconsistencies, downright stupid parts occasionally
Catch Me If You Can is the story of a conman who passed himself off as an airline pilot and paediatric doctor among other things, and a dogged FBI check fraud officer. Starring Leonardo Di Caprio in the role of the conman (Frank) and Tom Hanks as the FBI ...
Pros: Fabulous story. Cons: Cut the hype. Drop the 2nd video and the book re-release.
Generally I dont get all charged up by a cop-and-robber movie. If youve seen one handsome Billy-the-Kid chased by the rugged but sometimes bungling sheriff type, then youve seen most everything in the western or shoot-em-up...
Pros: Sexy Leonardo to stare at for 2 hours Cons: I did't get to play the love scenes with him- definite con in my view
Please dont kill me for this but I did not see this film as the best thing since cream cheese on a bagel. I was in the salon and I overheard (insert the real word eavesdrop here) two lovely young gals talking about the latest film to hit the...
Pros: DiCaprio, Hanks, Spielberg. A very watchable movie. Cons: Not much
As you may know, hubby is the entertainment director in our household. Most of the time he gets the right picks, and this case last Wednesday, was no exception. Besides, how wrong can you get, paying a mere 50 cents per movie ticket?
Pros: Good performances. Interesting storyline. Cons: Sags when it should zip. Occasionally takes itself too seriously.
The delectable Mr. Stryker finally called, asking me if I would like to come over to his home and help him with a rim job, as if I would understand auto mechanics. As the whole point of the relationship is a high profile publicity romance, I did not...
Pros: Cast does a terrific job in a breezy, fun flick. Cons: Not exactly an important picture, if that troubles you.
The year 2002 has been a good one for me and movie watching. But it hasnt been a good one for going to the theater. Ive only seen two 2002 releases in theaters all these twelve months. In March I saw We Were Soldiers, which is a picture...
Pros: Overall good comedy and memorable characters. Cons: The ending is a little too hokey.
Catch Me If You Can kind of caught me off guard. Seeing that it featured Tom Hanks and Leonardo DiCaprio in the lead roles and that Steven Spielberg was the man behind the camera I was expecting one of those male bonding movies featuring two adversaries...
Pros: Excellent portrayals Cons: 30 minutes too long; Hanks' accent
At the start of CATCH ME IF YOU CAN, we see FBI agent Carl Hanratty (Tom Hanks) come into a very dank prison, in 1969. In his hand, he has an extradition order which took him two long years to obtain; he has been ordered to escort the subject of the...
Pros: Great performances from Christopher Walken, Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks Cons: A little slow at the start
Last week I had one of those terrible head colds that you sometimes get in summer, so I was reduced to lying on the couch, drinking tea with lemon and honey, and watching DVDs. Wulfette went to the library to pick up some more entertainment and so, of ...
Pros: Good performances, engaging, and fun Cons: I had to sit really close to the screen
Crime doesnt pay unless of course youre really good at it.
People have always delighted in the exploits of those individuals that flout convention (and the occasional law) often living vicariously through them. How else can...
Pros: story, comedy, several good actors Cons: nothing to figure out, some will feel shortchanged
Leonardo DiCaprio has no trouble finding work, as Catch Me If You Can marks his second major movie release this week. Some people were disappointed with Gangs of New York, and some will find Steven Spielbergs Catch Me If...
Pros: A very interesting story based on truth. Not a dull moment in this one. Cons: Well, Frank Jr. was a con. :-)
And one of them came up smelling like a rose. This is the story of how Frank Abagnale Jr. (Leonardo DiCaprio, Titanic, Man In the Iron Mask) got started in the check "writing" business. If you can call it a business. It was for him anyway. It netted him...
Pros: Spielberg directed, funny soundtrack and plot fun to follow. Based on true story. Cons: zero: Spielberg directed.
This was a fun movie to watch and I enjoyed the suspense of trying to figure out what Frank Abagnale(Leonardo DiCapprio) was going to do next and if he would get out of the mess he got himself into.
Pros: The film's overall breezy tone, Walken, Abagnale's life, the film's look... Cons: A bit too breezy for me to warrant another viewing...is that bad?
I had nothing to do with my mother and younger brother this Christmas, so I suggested that we go see a movie. My mom isn't much into sci-fi/fantasy so that ruled out of lot of choices that would make me and my brother happy at that moment (since we...
Pros: Lightweight, fun, whimsical, joyful. Great cast and script. Cons: Probably won't win any Oscars. Too bad.
When word leaked out that Steven Spielberg was working with Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks on a film based on the real life of an interesting figure from recent history, Academy Award watchers likely stood up and took notice. After all, its no...
Pros: Unbelievable true story; great acting from DiCaprio, Hanks and Christopher Walken Cons: Flashback structure isn't too effective
As I watched CATCH ME IF YOU CAN, Steven Spielberg's thoroughly entertaining romp of a film, I couldn't help but think that the movie glamorizes crimes depicted on the screen--in fact REVELS in them. But then again, doesn't "Ocean's 11?" Doesn't "The...
Pros: Great director well put together plot Cons: none
Leonardo Dicaprio, I liked him in the beach and I think he is a clever actor generally. And I shouldn't forget Tom Hanks a mega actor. This I think was definitely a good choice of movie for both of them. Based on a true story about Frank William ...
Pros: simple story with depth under surface. perfect cast, production design Cons: Spielberg big bow endings, ending show have came sooner

The idea that someone is capable of successfully impersonating their identity in different forms of occupations and at the same becoming a master check forger may seem rather ludicrous in present...
Pros: Entertainment all the way Cons: No nomination for Leonardo – they could at least have nominated him!!
Steven Spielberg has been working hard lately.
Just think about it two very smart flicks: AI and Minority Report. The former mostly misunderstood, the latter a smash box office hit, yet again with very different...
Pros: DiCaprio plays his con man with depth and humanity. Excellent supporting cast. Cons: DiCaprio may be a little too likable. They could've made him a little darker.
Whenever a life is converted into a movie, inevitably, certain details that complicate the character are not included in the picture. Last year's Best Picture Winner, "A Beautiful Mind," was the subject of intense scrutiny for its loose adaptation of...
Pros: Heart-rending scenes with Christopher Walken. Cons: Does not go deep enough into the characters themselves, despite length.
Leonardo DiCaprio is Frank Abagnale, Jr. in a true story of a runaway turned counterfeiter and con artist. Frank leaves home the day he learns his parents are going to divorce, when he is forced to choose between them. At just 16 years old he goes on ...
Pros: Money For Nuthin' And Chicks For Free: Spielberg's High Riding Catch Cons: You are a woman in a Spielberg film. Which dustbin do you pick?
Frank Abagnale's illustrious con career began at 16, impersonating a substitute teacher in order to revenge himself upon a student who physically dissed him in front of a pretty female in a hallway. While his parents are discussing the matter with the...
Pros: Hanks and DiCaprio in an intriguing and exceedingly witty cat-and-mouse game Cons: The 1960s setting may appear strange to some audiences
The latest in a long, long line of excellent films from master filmmaker Steven Spielberg, CATCH ME IF YOU CAN, despite being a product of 2002, feels wonderfully old-fashioned. If there is one thing most people should now come to expect from Spielberg,...
Pros: Lighting, Williams's score, Hanks, Walken, Based on a true story, ect. Cons: Jennifer Garner's role seems pointless, my Hitchcock nod in the title.
During the final third of Steven Spielbergs latest film "Catch Me If You Can", Christopher Walken says, "They got the cake but they also wanted the crumbs." His character may be talking about the I.R.S. but this statements might as well be the...
Pros: Compelling story, solid performances, nearly universal appeal. Cons: Could have explored more of Abagnale's life (especially later)
Preface
A few years ago, one or another of my professors in an interpersonal communications class played an audio tape of Frank W. Abagnale, Jr. telling the story of his criminal exploits.
Pros: Hanks attempts new career direction Cons: Over two hours of Leo alternating between smirking and sulking
"Catch Me If You Can" is primarily about 1) how all women are giggling idiots and 2) how famous movie directors are allowed to do whatever they want, however meager, especially if Big Stars are on board. It pretends to be about the real-life adventures...
Pros: Great performances. Fun, light atmosphere. Based on a true story. Cons: Unneeded inclusion of a certain profanity. Irregular pacing.
If "Catch Me If You Can" hadn't had the "directed by Steven Spielberg" tag in its opening credits, you'd really have no idea that this film came from the man responsible for "Jaws", "Close Encounters", "Schindler's List", or even "Jurassic Park". That's...
Pros: Cast, art direction, score, opening credits Cons: Overlong, too schmaltzy, somewhat underwhelming
Releasing his third film in eighteen months, celebrated filmmaker Steven Spielberg decided to take it down a notch, making a film thats more lighthearted and accessible to mainstream audiences. The film is Catch Me if You Can, the story of...
Pros: Clean, light, entertaining and fun! Great Saturday matinee. Cons: Bends the truth for effect...but, what's new in Hollywood?
My husband and I went out on a double date to the amazing PF Changs, but the wait to get a table at the hopping restaurant was THREE HOURS!! No joke. So, we took our table-pager and went over to the movie theater behind the restaurant to pass the...
Pros: Fast paced, fresh and exciting. Almost has the 60's flair of Our Man Flint. Cons: Tom Hanks character didn't develop as hoped. Don't read the book first.
I hope you can find time to view this fast paced, fresh and exciting new movie featuring Leonardo DiCaprio as teen-aged con-man Frank Abagnale, Jr. Whether jetting across the country impersonating a Co-Pilot for a major airline, supervising a staff of...
Pros: Entertaining, fairly clean, humorous, honest Cons: Portrays a criminal as a hero, if you want to moralize
Well, I had my hopes up for this one, and Spielberg has not let me down again.
This is, as you may be aware, the story of one Frank Abagnale, Jr, who went on the run at 16 with $10 in his pocket and $25 in his checking account, and out of...
Pros: This isn't a feel-good movie, it's a feel-great movie. Cons: Normally brilliant Tom Hanks is a disappointing throwaway here.
To Tell The Truth a fitting game show to open the story of the one of the worlds best liars. To tell the truth a daunting task for a filmmaker trying to adapt this story. According to the credits, Catch Me If You Can is based...
A true story about Frank Abagnale Jr. who in the 60's during the age of 16-21 robbed many banks across the U.S and the world , became a Pan Am co-pilot, a pediatrician, a lawyer and his school teacher.< p> The movie begins with Frank Abagnale ...
Pros: An Amazing story in its own right; well told Cons: The undeveloped love affair
When a director takes a purely entertaining film one step further, artfully posing deeper questions that roll around in my mind the next day, it deserves a five-star rating.
Catch Me If You Can, directed by Steven Spielberg, is one of...
Pros: Taking a cue from the younger directors, Spielberg shows how its done.
Cons: Spielberg's gliding waltz to the side could be seen as a digression.
Grasping onto the shirttails of Minority Report, which just hit DVD two weeks ago, after its theatrical release on June 21st; Catch Me If You Can is not only a film just as good visually and structurally, Spielberg does the latter one...
Pros: Good, clean fun. Cons: Tom Hanks' voice. Kidding.
Note: This review was originally written December 30, 2002.
It had been a while since Steven Spielberg made a "light-hearted comedy adventure". I think the last one came in 1997 with his below average follow-up to Jurassic Park, called...
Pros: Fun story, Leo does a good job Cons: Retro-ending
Directed with admirable restraint by Spielberg, CATCH ME IF YOU CAN is a fun holiday movie that stars Leonardo DiCaprio in the title role of true life teen con artist Frank Abagnale Jr. and Tom Hanks as FBI agent, Carl Hanratty.
Pros: Great period detail, terrific performances from Hanks, DiCaprio, Walken Cons: Wishy-washy script can't settle on tone; pacing suffers
I love caper movies (good ones, anyway), and Catch Me If You Can held a lot of promise for me. A definite A-list cast with names like Tom Hanks and Leo DiCaprio, and directed by the master himself Steven Speilberg, this looked like a sure-fire...
Pros: Forget Titanic, this is Dicaprio's best role. Cons: Starts slowly, picks up after 45 minutes.
Catch Me if You Can is as much about belonging and a sense of place as it is about fakery. Frank Abagnale Jr. (Leonardo DiCaprio) came from a loving, secure two-parent family but like an American dream crumbling was asked to make choices when...
Pros: educational, some comic relief, some action, interesting, keeps you thinking Cons: duration time is to long, slow begining, and boring moments.
On Jan. 22, 2003, I went, with the excitement of a turkey on its way to the slaughter house on Thanksgiving Day, to see 'Catch Me If You Can'. I really wasn't looking forward to watching a movie who's promos did not interest me, and who was so focused...
Pros: Visually captures the feel of the 60's. Christopher Walken. Cons: The movie is a bit long.
Based on the true life story of conman Frank Abagnale this movie wonderfully captures the feel of the late 60's. Directed by Steven Spielberg, the premise of the movie does seem to be pretty farfetched. In the movie Leonardo DiCaprio plays Abagnale who...
Pros: Excellent performances. The movies atmosphere Cons: Doesn't get the surprising climax you might expect.
First of all, I'm not a real Dicaprio fan. Most of the time I think he's miscast. A good example is perhaps this films biggest box-office-enemy: "Gangs of New York" , Dicaprio was completely miscast. True my epinion it felt like he was the totally wrong...
Pros: Story, plot, parents, Leo. Cons: Tom Hanks was Tom Hanks playing an FBI agent. Too long
The life story of a teen whose father taught him to make up a life story, and encouraged his son's charades is told with Spielberg directing, DeCaprio being the lead, and Hanks...was so utterly disappointing in his role as the chasing FBI agent, I can't...
Pros: Excellent production values Cons: Nothing worth mentioning
CATCH ME IF YOU CAN is, as you probably heard by now, the memoirs of real-life con man Frank Abagnale, who cut a very impressive swath in the 1960s, when he was barely voting age. Leonardo DiCaprio is Abagnale, Tom Hanks plays Carl Hanratty, the FBI...
Pros: moves fast, good plot, interesting characters Cons: a little long
I saw this movie by myself this weekend because my wife/kids wanted to see the Thornburrys. I didn't realize that the movie was almost 2.5 hours! My wife had to wait almost an hour for me to get out of this movie.
Pros: Great Performances, even story telling through out, crafted well Cons: May not yet appeal to children under 8yo.
The next reviewer I read that says something is too long the instant it hits the magic two hour mark, I'm going to move that studios make a shortened, critics only version that will not challenge critics ability to pay attention for such clearly enormous...
Pros: Spielberg at his non-extraterrestrial best. Cons: Spielberg.
Lately, the tons of commercialized driftwood passed off as cinematic art have gotten lodged in the stream of even the most callous film veteran's conscience. When something like this happens, there is traditionally a flood of a backlash of films with a...
Pros: Exciting and fun to watch unfold. Cons: None from me. Tom Hanks accent.
Leonardo Dicaprio had proved once again he is a talented actor of his time. Playing the role of Frank Abagnale Jr he lies, cheats, and scams just about everyone he comes across. Christopher Walken plays Frank Abagnale Sr and we see that it is him his son...
Pros: Tom Hanks and (surprisingly) Leonardo DiCaprio Cons: Christopher Walken = Loving father?
Catch Me If You Can is "the real story of a true fake"...at least, that's what the tagline is. However, what I found enticing about this movie was that the main character, while a con artist, didn't come across as fake at all. What I saw instead was a...
Pros: Supporting cast, good (True) story Cons: A little long
It's been a while since I've written any reviews, however, I thought this movie was so good, I had to write. Susan wanted to see a movie late yesterday afternoon and I knew what a fan she is of Tom Hanks, so I suggested we go see this in the newly...
Pros: great story, very good acting Cons: credits and DVD menus
Summary: Frank W. Abagnale Jr. (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a young man in what he believes to be a very difficult situation - his father, Frank Abagnale, Sr. (Christopher Walken), is in trouble with the IRS and, as a result, his mother, Paula Abagnale ...
Pros: Entertaining movie, with hilarious moments, but.... Cons: overall it leaves you wanting more.
I found this movie to be excellent while in the theatre, but a bit disappointing once I left. The plot is good, and so is the acting, which is what one would expect with the a-list talent like Tom Hanks, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Christopher Walken. It...
Pros: Fast, fun, full of life. Cons: Does not follow the book
I found the movie very fast paced and just a lot of fun. Hanks, Dicaprio, and Walken are a blast to watch. Well worth the wait of not seeing pretty boy Leo on the screen for two years. He may be 28, but that baby face can still pull off the charm and...
Pros: continuous and engaging flow Cons: a bit long and predictable
With all of its faults, it was still an entertaining movie. Leonardo Dicaprio was convincing and fit his part. He seemed to mature and age subtly as the film progressed. Christopher Walken appeared in a smaller role as one of his usual portrayals, but...
Pros: storyline, actors, plot Cons: not a single thing
All I can say is WOW! I cannot believe this movie was a true story. It's truly amazing how someone, and a 16 year old at that, could get away with all this. Frank Abagnail was very determined to make himself a perfect life, and if he couldn't...
Pros: Funny, suspenseful, and entertaining Cons: A little more details in some areas
Steven Spielberg once again proves his movie genius in "Catch Me If You Can," the true story of Frank Abagnale Jr., the youngest person to ever be on the F.B.I.'s ten most wanted list.
By the age of twenty-one, Frank Abagnale had...
This movie was fun from beginning to end. Starting with the opening credits, the movie takes you back to a different era. A time before the information age, where everyone knew everything about you, by looking up your credit report. It is a classic...
Pros: Enjoyable Entertaining and Pleasant Cons: impending doom
Catch me if you can was a good movie, I found it enjoyable and amusing. Every bit of it seemed believable. I think Leonardo did a good job with the acting in the movie, and seemed to fit the part just right. The movie is easy to follow, although you know...
Pros: Very interesting plot Cons: They went back and forth in time, it confused me a bit.
This movie overall was very good! The plot, the acting, everything....well a few times in the movie they go back and forth between time periods, this confused me a bit. But after a while I caught on.
Pros: Humourous, enjoyable, touching, original, inspiring, disbelieving,heart-warming Cons: Little too long,
After seeing movies, I usually take a moment to reflect about what I have just witnessed. I think about whether it was worth my 9 bucks, and whether I just wasted my life's precious hours. After I saw "Catch me if you can," I did my moment of...
Pros: Leo and Tom of course! The story. The acting. The costumes/music. Cons: Perhaps not enough analysis/emphasis on Frank's feelings, his motives.
This movie is pure fun, from the animated opening credits to the comically ironic ending. It's really an undemanding movie - just sit back and enjoy the ride. Spielberg adapted this movie from a true story about a clever, slick and handsome teenage con...
Speilberg's rendition of this true story was made well. The movie was very interesting for the fact that a 19-year-old did all these things and it took a great deal of time before he was caught. Leonardo impressed me with the job he did in this movie....
Pros: Enjoyable! Great actors and acting! Cons: A little unbelievable.
Is Tom Hanks ever in a bad movie??? He does an awesome job as does Leo (who is cute as ever). The story moves at an enjoyable pace however if you have seen the trailer you kinda know alot about the story and can get a little bored. I really liked the...
Pros: A very interesting storyline based on a true story. Cons: Slow moving. While the subject was interesting the pace was sluggish.
This movie was based on a true story. That in intself tends to get my attention. The things this man accomplished at a such a young age were astounding. My only problem was with the length and pace of the movie. Maybe it's the editing. I kept thinking...
Pros: None...not thought provoking Cons: Too contrived. You can't identify with this guy.
I thought that this was a fairly outdated saga about someone that we really don't care much about. While I think the most interesting points are at the end of the movie (what the lead character has done to help prevent fraud), it was as a whole...
Pros: Great movie. Masterful directing and acting. Cons: Tom Hank's accent is a bit spotty.
In this film, directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Tom Hanks, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Christopher Walken, The true story of American con-man Frank Abagnale, Jr. comes to life. At once hilarious, touching, suspenseful, this is Spielberg's finest work...
Pros: Action and comedy packed Cons: A little lengthy
Be sure to see this film in the theater, or you might regret it. The colors and throw back to the 60s is incredible. There is so much energy in this movie you leave feeling like you're ready to 'take on the world'. Leo and Tom have great chemistry and...

Pros: Interesting story line, good cast of actors Cons: A little far fetched even though based on a true story.
The plot of this movie is based on a true story, although I don't agree with the ending myself. The plot is based on a young man's life of crime, mainly bank fraud. This character is Frank Abagnale Jr., who is played by Leonardo DiCaprio. During his many...
Pros: Entertaining, good acting, kept me interested Cons: none
I was sad to see this movie end, it definitely kept my interest, despite the length of the movie. DiCaprio was a great actor. The movie makes you laugh from the very beginning, and the fact that it is based on a true story makes it so much more...
Pros: tom hanks and leo dicaprio good story and some exetremly funny moments Cons: a few loose ends
unless you have been under a rock.....this movie is about frank abaganle jr. who became a master of disguise and bad checks during the 1960's. tom hanks was superb as an fbi agent tracking down leo's character. one of the funiest moments of the film is...
Pros: acting, plot Cons: no closure on Hanks's character
Okay, Ill go right out and say it: Catch Me If You Can has little action by way of gunfights, fights, etc. If you want that movie, its called The Fugitive. But Catch Me is, I believe, a more intelligent movie. The emphasis is more on...
Pros: Great movie to get you interested in check fraud. Cons: This movie was incredable long and boring at parts.
This movie was a great movie show the main character going from place to place by making money off check fraud. This movie gives you a good idea about the time period and what people were like back then. This also shows the effects of a failing marriage...
Pros: Includes humor drama and action Cons: Long and thats it.
I would have to say this is one of the best movies of it genre that I have ever seen. It a a cat and mouse game and the mouse is always one step ahead. Leonardo Decaprio plays a runaway who has decided to make his fortune writing fraud checks. He is...
Pros: Based on a true story, nice set and props throughout the movie Cons: I don't believe it tells the whole story

Pros: Leo is actually acting! Bravo! Walken is great! Cons: Hank's accent... too too too too long!
All right, I don't review a lot of movies, mostly because I only see a few new movies a year and no one is going to read a review of a movie that came out two years ago!
Tonight I was invited by a friend to see a free screaning of this movie....
Pros: action, suspense>>di caprio and spielberg what else do you want? Cons: none
Well people if you think Leonardo had become one of those fallen one hit wonder celebrities..then think again..he's back and is hotter than ever..with the help of that hollywood wizard spielberg.
A likable film for audiences by flipperoid ,Jan 01 '06
Pros: Enjoyable, funny, likable, great performances, and great cinematography. Cons: A abrupt ending and strange storytelling
I liked this film and it's nice to see Spielberg escaping his sci-fi trademark sometimes. Leonardo DiCaprio (extremely convincing as a teenager) stars as a teenager con artist whose parents gone separate and bankrupt. Taking different identities with FBI agent Carl Handratty (Tom Hanks) fresh on his trails, he's hiding - pro-style.
