    Pros: Great acting, improved story
Cons: Occasional special effects, Lt. Keffer

Summary: The TV show Babylon 5 set out to do something new and different, tell one story over the course of five seasons. Considering this was the early 90's, that was something unheard of at the time. While season one mainly focused on creating the ... read more

Pros: The good stuff got better and the not-so-good stuff improved as well.
Cons: More complex. Pricey for the casual viewer.

Pros: a few good episodes (especially near the end), want to know what happens next
Cons: mostly generic and rehashed, flatter characterizations and little ambiguity, no real focal point or cohesion

Summary: I missed the beginning of Babylon 5 when it originally aired and, knowing that it was very much a serial where an overarching story threads through the episodes, I decided not to pick it up mid-series. Thus, despite knowing many diehard fans and being ... read more

    Pros: Great storyline
Cons: Bruce Boxleitner hard to get used to as commander

Summary: After watching the first season, I was used the the commander of Babylon 5 being a stern, serious, diplomatic character like Sinclair. However, with the second season, they changed the commander to Sheridan with Bruce Boxleitner he just seemed too
