Pros: Great 80's music, well known actors/actresses.
Cons: Just the aggravated feeling you will get because Debby's personality is so frustrating.

Summary: Hysterical Blindness is a movie that is set in the 1980's and is about two young women who are looking for love in a local bar. Uma Thurman plays Debby Miller, an over-bearing, controlling friend and daughter. Juliette Lewis has the part of Beth ... read more

    Cons: Depressing subject matter.

Pros: Great acting, great directing and a very inSIGHTful screenplay.
Cons: Depressing but true to life. Ending is kind-of a cheat.

Summary: I remember when this movie was first advertised on HBO (this is an made for HBO movie) and thinking, "WOW! How pathetic these people seem (already!) and there's no way in hell I'm watching that!" Well, I don't remember how, but I caught the beginning ... read more
