The Others and Signs are good movies. Both of them were scary and ominous. The Others was a particularly good movie to see at the drive-in. The Dark house was a nice touch, kind of reversing standard fare on you...as the scenery became brighter the ...

As I'm not a huge fan of Kidman, I had my doubts about this movie all together. Hindsight being what it is, I must say that I was truly impressed. The movie held my attention all the way through. The thing that impressed me the most, is that you didn't figure out the ending until it happened. Which, as we all know, is a big plus. I hate the movies you already have figured out 10 minutes into them. The setting was perfect and the acting incredible, especially by the younger cast.

Pros: The dark setting of the house keeps you on your toes.
Cons: If you didn't like Sixth Sense, don't go see this.

When watching this movie, I was enthralled by the storyline. What really kept me going throughout the movie was the dark setting of the house, along with the well done acting by each of the members of the family. Had they not shown constant fear and emotion, I would have felt as though the setting and plot were childish. Nicole Kidman did an excellent job in portraying her character in the place and time in which the movie was set. Although the movie moved along slowly at times, I felt as if it helped to put me into the movie even more so.

Pros: Both a childs point of veiw and an adults.
Cons: Alot of thinking is involved.

GREAT! They are not the kind of movies you just sit there and watch, you are falling out of your set or thinking. Signs is one of my favourite movies. Its about an alien attack on earth, begining with mysterious crop circles to an actuall attack. Its pretty scary. The Others is about a woman and her two children in this house that they belive is haugnted by a family. I wont ruin the end to this one.

Pros: Extremely intense movie

I am not a fan of Nicole Kidman, never have been, and even after watching her in such an intensely suspenseful film, never will be.

With that said, this review is easy. The Others is phenomenal, the plot twists and turns, keep you on the edge of your seat just wondering what is going to happen next.

The believability of the actors, was well, unbelievable. I felt for the children in this movie, the help, and certainly the mother (Nicole Kidman).

When everything comes together in the end, I can guarantee you will have not seen it coming, and your jaw will drop!!!

Pros: 2 fantastic films in one, absolutely genius.
Cons: If you dont like one, maybe you wont like the other.

You really get your money's worth here! Signs is a fantastic film about a family who through an alien landing. They get trapped in their house and its a fight for survival against unknowns. The others is a similar film only instead of aliens its ghosts. Nicole Kidman gives a fantastic performance. She is in her ghostly house with her children and the staff and there is a brilliant twist towards the end of the film. It's very similar to the 6th sense. If you like either of these films, this is a brilliant buy.
