Rescue Heroes - The Movie

Pros: Better then I expected. Even my 4 year old daughter loves this movie.
Cons: None ... I'd REALLY have to nit-pick the movie.

How funny! I never expected to like a movie based on our every day heros with superhuman powers. It just seemed to cliche. But we promised our kids that our family movie night would be front & center with none other. First the graphics for this movie ...

If you are looking for an good movie to sit the children down to, this would be one. There is no violence other than natural disasters. It is an excellent way to teach young children safety procedures, and the different types of natural disasters there are. The family I babysit for owns this movie and we watched it every week for months.

I bought this movie on VHS for my son a few weeks ago. He has watched it almost every day since then. The characters are all on the Rescue Squad. Firefighters, police officers, mountain and snow rescue officers, etc. A volcanic eruption triggers violent storms and the team is put into action trying to put out forest fires, build up a dam before it breaks, rescue some trapped miners, save snowboarders trapped in an avalanche and trying to stop the storms before they get worse. The animation was all done by computers and the only violence is from the storms. We have other videos that came with the Rescue Hero action figures and my son loves to watch all of these. They are even educational because they teach about safety during many of these situations. The only problem I have with this movie is that he watches it so much I almost have it memorized. I would recommend this movie to any family with a 3-7 year old boy.
