This is without a doubt one of the best and most compelling movies that I have ever seen in a long time! And to think that its all true is even better!

The acting overall was award winning every actor did a fantastic performance with this one, oh and who could forget Ed Harris, he was great too.

The overall presentation of the movie was compelling and yet at the same time sad. All the things that happen to this poor guy makes you feel sorry for him. I think this movie falls into the same category as that one with Tom Hanks where he plays a slow minded guy, as a matter of fact the plot reminded me a bit of that movie.

There is nothing bad about this movie, no sex, nudity, or violence. A real family oriented movie, there is one scene that is not for children's eyes, though its nothing really.

A definite must see!!

The previews on TV were great ! and the movie was OK. It was like a lifetime movie of the week! All Dialog no action, suspense, lot's of Drama though. If you like a complete dialog movie this is for you , the price of a matinee maybe worth it. A full admission of an evening show don't spend the $$$ not worth your hard earnings. Cuba Gooding did an OK job,he likes both kinds of pies and his vocabulary amazingly gets better in a short period of time. The best part was seeing the real Radio at the end of the movie. WAIT FOR VIDEO is my suggestion.

I found this movie to tell a story about someone that was different but really the same. Cuba Gooding played a retarded boy "Radio" that was looking for love and most of all wanted to be excepted and a part of something meaningful.

Also, a mother that was struggling to keep them comfortable but not able to put in the time with him. Because she had to work 10 or more hours a day.

Having a disability sometime make people make fun of you because you are not what they appear to normal.

If you thought Gooding was good in Jerry McGuire and/or Men of Honors you have not seen anything. Make sure you have plenty of extra tissue with you. It is a family movie for all ages.

I found the movie touching and emotional, with its theme of the universal human need for acceptance and love. The process of learning to understand and accept differences, rather than rejection, was also well shown.

To me the action was a bit slow, and the character developments not done well. My wife enjoyed it totally.

Cuba Gooding Jr "RADIO" taking a crack at Oscar type Roles in Film. I think he just might of made the right choice. Ed Harris always giving a strong performance, just might be the train ticket to get this movie there to the Oscar station. A heart warming story that just teaches us once again , that judging something we don't know only makes us retarded.
