Win a Date with Tad Hamilton benefits from a well developed, written and acted story. There are no cloying ploys or lame sequences in this film and the lack of depth that some reviewers ascribe to Bosworth's character, while accurate, is no different than that found in many of my real life coworkers. I watched the movie with a mix of pre-teen and middle school boys and girls who all enjoyed it thoroughly.
