As I was sitting on my couch and channel surfing a cop show came across my television screen. I assumed it was Cops and continued to watch it. I then realized these cops were way too stupid and irresponsible and the channel I was watching this show on was Comedy Central. The wannabe cop show was Reno 911.
Reno 911 takes place in the biggest little city Reno, Nevada. The washoe county sheriffs department deals with risky and humourous situations like sex offenders, prostituion, spousal abuse and so on. The deputies all have have their own bizarre personalitys. It first aired in 2004 and is still on the air.
The officers names are Lieutenant James "Jim" Ron Dangle, Deputy Travis Junior, Deputy Trudy Wiegel, Deputy Clementine "Clemmie" Johnson, Deputy Raineesha Williams,Deputy S. Jones, and Deputy James Oswaldo Garcia. All of the charecters are absoulutely hilarious!
I defenitely recommend watching this show. If you have a sense of humor you will enjoy it.

Reno 911 is one of the best comedy shows I have ever watched. Every episode is funny. I bought this the day it came out and would have paid double. I think they all are great actors and the writing makes this show so funny. The extra features include commentary and alternate scenes. But these are just the cherry on top. The show makes this DVD completely worth owning.

Some of my favorite moments:

Garcia is suppose to rehabilitate a hooker, and ends up taking her to a "half-way home". "That aint no half-way house, its half way between my house and the restaurant I took her to. God vomited and there was Jackie." Priceless

Dangle tell a stripper to pretend he is Garcia's daughter that he hasn't seen in 10 years

The whole episode where Jones is a Crosswalk Guard

These are just a few, there are many more where those came from. Season 2 comes out on June 14 and I will be picking up. Great show

This DVD collection is a great gift for anyone who appreciates edgy humor. This sketch comedy is based in Reno NV. and tackles a number of more "serious" issues by poking fun at them. If you are a fan of the Chappelle show on Comedy Central odds are you will like this.
