Pros: Fun, entertaining family movie Cons: Silly and predictable. Characters are a bit flat.
I remember seeing several movies about Herbie the Love Bug when I was a child. It has been a long time since I last saw one of those movies and I dont remember too much about them, but I do remember enjoying them. Ive been seeing previews for ...
Pros: Great for under tens, some amusing moments and crazy stunts... Cons: ... completely predictable, very little for anyone over ten to enjoy!
Herbie: Fully Loaded is Disneys attempt to resurrect the ancient and much-loved Herbie series of films (the first film having been released 39 years ago), which from what I remember seemed to get worse with each successive sequel. Ive ...
Pros: cuteness that could appeal to a young audience Cons: contrived plot, no fluidity, didn't explain what led to the film, unneeded sequel
Herbie, the 1963 Volkswagen bug with a mind of its own, returned to the big screen in 2005 for an updated version of the same old story. Produced once again, as a film about an underdog car that intends to succeed against all the odds, Herbie Fully ...
Pros: more of my favorite VW, Lohan and Keaton Cons: too much Nascar, special effects
I am generally fairly suspicious of motor vehicles, but Herbie, the lively, lovable little VW bug from the series of live-action Disney films, won my heart many years ago. So when I heard the hardy beetle was about to star in another installment, I was ...
Pros: Some kinda funny moments; Pacing Cons: Flat characters and plot; Music doesn't blend very well; Made for kids
Movie remakes have been the trend as of late, with filmmakers looking for easy ways to capitalize on already proven formulas for box office success. One movie from this past summer is a remake based on several Disney films originally created back in the ...
Pros: story as expected, Herbie slightly souped up, scenes in junkyard, uses music well Cons: lackluster, bad cuts and editing, left too much on the cutting room floor, one-dimensional characters
It's been a long time since Herbie's last race. Instead of fast tracks and adoring crowds, Herbie's now surrounded by rusting metal and crushed glass at the local junkyard. It seems like he's doomed, headed for demolition, until Maggie Peyton (Lindsay ...
Pros: Fun Story, Races With Herbie Are Fun To Watch Cons: Some Characters Lack Depth
Herbie: Fully Loaded was a movie I went to see at the theatre when it first came out. I didn’t particularly pick the film, my brother did, but I was invited to go along with his family, so even though it wouldn’t have been my top pick, I didn’t ...
Pros: Fun, children will enjoy it, adults will be entertained. Cons: won't inspire deep philosophical discussion (oops, this is supposed to be for the cons?
Before I begin, let me explain how I feel when I go to the movies. If this isn't why you go, you will more than likely disagree with my opinion of this movie. Typically, I walk up, wince at the prices (I'm cheap, what can I say?), pay for tickets for ...
Pros: "girls are capable" message, old school Herbie antics, fun. Cons: predictable, a little cheesy
I don't know why I decided to rent this movie; perhaps it is my weird pop-culture-based obsession with all things Lindsay Lohan. Regardless, I was looking to watch a nice family film, and I wasn't disappointed. Herbie: Fully Loaded is the newest ...
Pros: Um, they play Van Halen's "Jump," which is a pretty cool song. Cons: Direction, acting, writing, effects... all pretty awful here. Need I continue?
Although I remember watching the HERBIE movies when I was young, I remember very little of the movies themselves. While they were certainly entertaining to a single-digits-aged version of me, they didn’t really make an impression, and I certainly felt ...
Pros: fun family friendly movie Cons: Boys may not like it as much as girls
Herbie Fully Loaded is an excellent remake of the original movie Herbie The Love bug, for the MTV generation. They kept all the old Disney elements of a feisty little care with a real personality, and souped it up in the best "pimp my ride" style. ...
Pros: Nascar, not too long, VERY FEW funny moments Cons: everything else, directing, acting, actors, premice of movie, need i continue
You can probably tell how I feel about this movie just by reading the subcaption. Well, since this is a review, I am actually going to review and tell you why I hated this movie. First off, let me just say that movies are made to be fantasy. Stuff ...
I really LOVED the old Herbie movies and somehow didn't think a girl like Lindasy Lohan doesn't fit into this kind of movie but it was great. It is hard to keep up with the original ones but this movie is worth every penny. My whole family loves it. The ...
Herbie in the new millenium! by blinkbizkit21 ,Jul 10 '05
Pros: Good storyline, some good acting, good for kids Cons: strays from original
Herbie fully loaded is a fun family movie. That being said if you saw the original Herbie, do not expect this to be very close to the original. The story is updated for present day and features the very beautiful actress Lindsay Lohan (before she became a blonde). Herbie has its light moments as well as its intense and intimate ones. All in all the movie is a good option to bring your children to if you are bored on a summer day, other than that its nothing that outstanding.
Pros: A fun, Light hearted movie. Lots of action to keep kids interested Cons: Predictable
Herbie was a great family movie. I took my wife and 3 kids. 2 Boys ages 11 and 7, and 1 girl age 4. They hardly made a sound during the movie and were entranced By Herbie. My little girl even acted like she was the one driving Herbie throughout the movie. Sure the movie was a little predictable but heck what do you expect from a family movie.
Start your engines! Lindsay Lohan does the driving when Herbie -- the fun-lovin , free-wheelin , 63 VW Beetle with a mind of its own -- returns better...More at Buy.com Marketplaces
