Pros: Michael Pitt's haunting, excellent performance; superb images by photographer Harris Savides Cons: Often relentlessly listless; indulgent; will not appeal to strangers of Cobain or "Elephant"
He ambles through the woods in a freewheeling stumble of senseless, primitive reverie. Mumbling incoherently, stringy blond main covering his face, dressed in a dirty tee shirt, red pajama pants and converse sneakers, he comes upon a river. He gets ...

Pros: terrific performance by Michael Pitt, cinematography, realism Cons: a few moments where it's not evident what we're watching for
The preview for Last Days intrigued me. The whole time a guy was yelping a song in the background with an acoustic guitar, and images were flashing before my face that I couldn't quite make out. I saw a musician. I saw loneliness. I saw Kurt ...

Pros: Technically accomplished, well-acted by Michael Pitt, several astounding scenes. Cons: Narratively threadbare, some less-than-effective and troubling scenes.

Pros: Daringly unique style, truly fantastic mood. Cons: The ending lacked umph.
I come from a Nirvana forum where everybody despises this movie. It doesn't surprise me, I don't expect very many people at all to like this movie. But it's one of my all-time favorites. And when I say that, I don't mean it's one of my favorites in a ...

Pros: None Cons: Script, editing, camerawork, lack of story, audio, just about everything
There is a great movie about musician Kurt Cobain. One waiting in the wings that will explore his life in depth from his evolution into music to his tragic death at 27 years of age, leaving behind a wife and child in the process. No doubt, this inspired ...

Kurt
by lindsey34378 ,Jul 23 '05
Pros: Grunde if thats what you into. Kurt cobian. Cons: not a big budget.
The film's cinematic style of the late Kurt Cobain (michael pitt) was great for a movie to not even be about the late Front man, lead singer for Nirvana, Kurt Cobain. The acting and direction of this film was great and if you are a grunge fan its a must see. I loved Kurt and Nirvana and still do. I'm a die hard FAN!

Very slowwwww....
by herctech ,Mar 13 '06
Pros: Good idea, but Kurt deserves a real movie about him with his music included. Cons: Very slow, no real storyline. Lacks music.Very low budget.
This is basically a fictional view of the last days of Kurt Cobain, but they don't really come out and say that. I think the idea behind this movie is good, but lacks anything to keep us intrigued.
