Pros: Funny, excellent animation, Wallce & Gromit finally hit the big screen! Cons: Perhaps doesn't quite have the magic of "The Wrong Trousers"
Wallace and Gromit are, of course, Nick Parkes Claymation creations who starred previously in A Grand Day Out, where they visited the moon, The Wrong Trousers, where a criminal penguin gets Wallace in trouble by switching ...
Pros: Cute entertaining movie with some unique elements. Cons: Could have been funnier.
Wallace and Gromit became known from the Oscar winning short animated films they appeared in. I haven’t seen all of those shorts, though I have seen enough to know who the characters were. Nick Part, the creator of the characters, made his first ...
Pros: A fun film that pays homage to horror classics Cons:A Christmas Caper is a poor excuse for an opening short
It's October in the English town where Wallace and his faithful dog Gromit make their home. In October, the duo is busy protecting the gardens of their neighbors from rabbits with their business, Anti-Pesto Security. Everybody in town is getting ready ...
We've been Wallace and Gromit fans for years now. Nick Parks Claymation creations were the stars of three short films, but didn't have a full-length feature under their belts. That changed with this year's "The Curse of the Were-Rabbit." One of the ...
Pros: delightful British humor Cons: may be too bland for some
Bland can be beautiful. This is a notion one must be prepared to accept coming into Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. You have to be able to embrace the beauty of a simpler way of living, of a hero who is as dull as he is ...
Pros: Unique plot, great stop-action animation, fast moving Cons: Didn't make me laugh that much, some jokes may be over some children's heads
I just got home from Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were Rabbit. Wallace and Gromit have previously starred in three shorter animated features, which I have not seen. As a result, this was my first exposure to this crazy dog/inventor team. ...
Pros: Brilliant movie with tons of good extras on the DVD :)) Cons: May have to wait 6 years for a sequel :(
This was no man. Does a man have teeth the size of axe blades? Or ears like terrible tombstones? By tampering with nature, forcing vegetables to swell far beyond their natural size, we have brought a terrible judgment upon ourselves. ...
Pros: Witty and merry and clever and detailed... Cons: ...not as good as Wrong Trousers.
Wow. For the first time ever, I'm doing the first review for a movie. This is because Australia for some reason had advance screenings ahead of the world, so Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi for me. From the fertile imagination of Nick Park came two of ...
One of our local movie theatre chains has cheap summer movies every year. The choices may not be first run; but you’ll find Monkey Girl and I there most weeks. This week was no exception. We had a choice of Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the ...
Its that super duo, the cheese-loving Wallace and his canine chum, Gromit, come to grace your friendly neighborhood screens once more! The dotty balding inventor and his smart, silent dog have returned in their first feature film that runs to a ...
Pros: Funny, clever storyline and loveable characters Cons: None of note
Spring time in the sleepy village of Tottington can mean only one thing – gardeners’ young and old (mostly old) dust off their hoes in readiness for the annual giant vegetable contest. Reverend Clement Hedges is proudly optimistic of his titanic ...
Pros: Funny, interesting and intriguing, animation, all around good movie Cons: Could've been much funnier
I have always enjoyed the Wallace and Gromit movies. I wasn’t obsessed with them or anything, but ever since I was a kid I’ve enjoyed them. They were very funny and I found them very interesting and intriguing. When the video game came out, I bought it, ...
Pros: Stop-action claymation: amazing. A wacky comedy with its eyes always on the goal: laughter. Cons: None at all.
I fall into the category of a probable first-timer when it comes to Wallace & Gromit. I'm sure, being a parent who has attended a fair share of animation festivals I've probably seen them before....somewhere. But, I don't own any of their videos nor was ...
Pros: Wonderful British humor, hilarious lines Cons: British slang can leave you stumped at times
Boy, do I ever enjoy the works of Dreamworks, Disney, and Pixar's CGI departments. Wallace and Gromit was created by Nick Park of Aardman Animations. Wallace and Gromit had been introduced by 30 minute 'shorts' on BBC. Their first movies ...
Pros: Beautiful craftsmanship and a sparkling sense of humor that is NOT mean-spirited. Cons: Nada.
This movie has been so heaped with praise, I don't really feel I can add much. I think the key thing to know about Wallace & Gromit is that this is a movie for people of all ages in the BEST sense of the word. Sometimes when a movie is called a "family" ...
Pros: Very well crafted film Cons: Humor requires more to look at on a deeper level
I previously watched the Wallace & Gromit short films three years ago and there's a curious originality working here that most of today's marketing-oriented cartoons seem to lack: heart. Like there's a passion in these characters and the story that you ...
Pros: Low-key but hilarious, and often strangely touching Cons: Takes a while to get going, but it's worth the wait
I’m very late to the party where Wallace & Gromit are concerned. They’re the clay-animated subjects of three critically acclaimed Britshorts, most of which I’ve watched in stupefied silence. But with their feature-length film, Wallace & Gromit: The ...
Pros: The best of the Wallace and Gromit animated shorts is all there. Cons: There's not enough of it.
With so much computer animation around today, Nick Park and his clay figure movers at Aardman were bound to find it difficult to prove themselves in the cinematic world. Nevertheless they managed it five years ago with Chicken Run - a great escape ...
Pros: Clever and Witty
Original
Good References to other Monster Films Cons: Few lines were lost in translation
Well, I've never seen a Wallace and Gromit movie before Curse of the Were-Rabbit. I've heard of them and they always looked beyond my sense of humor. Honestly, if it wasn't for having seen so many promotionals for this movie, I probably would have ...
Pros: Some funny parts, suspense, good plot line, and some jokes. Cons: Hard to understand and it is not hilarious.

Pros: Smart, Clean and Fun. Something for everyone. Cons: It's a great movie, but not my favorite Wallace and Gromit film.
The Wallace and Gromit legacy began in 1986 with Grand Day Out. The films always have a bit of something for everyone. The kids always love the wacky gadgets and precarious situations that Wallace always gets them into. There are subtle jokes, puns and ...
Pros: It's Wallace and Gromit. 'Nuff said. Cons: It'll only be out for so long!!!
If you're over 10, which unfortunately some of the population isn't, you'll remember the hit cartoons A Grand Day Out, The Wrong Trousers and A Close Shave. If not, then it's more than likely you've watched them at least once, along with the other hit ...
Pros: Visually amazing, flawless claymation Cons: Seems to be missing something, I wish I loved it more
Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit is a full length claymation feature film. The film follows the story of two loveable characters, Wallace (the guy), and Gromit (the dog). In this film Wallace & Gromit have a garden pest catching business where ...
Pros: Great clay animation movie with funny scenes that the whole family can enjoy Cons: May be a little scary for younger kids
This movie is great for all ages, especially for young kids and parents to watch together, although it can get a little scary at moments for young kids, however there are still man funny scenes for them to enjoy. The movie's main characters are Wallace ...
Pros: Action, Adventure, Good Humor, and Peril Cons: The ending left some questions unanswered
I'd previous seen the Wallace and Grommet short features and liked them, so I was mildly excited to see they had an animated feature coming out; but Curse of the Were Rabbit surpassed my every expectation. The protagonists are the same as ever, but the gentle fun the script and sets poke at Everyone and Everything caught me off guard. It is subtle -- and equally incisive -- English humour. The plot was slightly thin in places, but one has to remember, this is vaudeville after all. And I know I'm an old softie when set down in front of the big screen, but Grommet's heroic loyalty in the face of (potential) loss brought a tear to my eye. Curse of the Were-Rabbit is a film folks bring their children to see, but I saw it with a friend and we both left feeling very satisfied.
A move I hate to say I loved... by randomheroine ,Mar 06 '07
Pros: unforgettable characters, interesting plot, "feel-good" air to it Cons: Not as good as The Wrong Trousers, not very funny
I usually tend to avoid children's movie, but I saw The Wrong Trousers when I was younger and I like Wallace and Gromit. So I felt compelled to see this one as well.
First off, I felt a little silly, but that might of been because I was a 21 year-old watching a movie meant for children. :)
But once you get pass that point, its not a bad movie. Not as amusing as The Wrong Trousers, but I found the plot to be fairly interesting. I found it has a bit of a feel-good air to it once you really start watching it. If you have children, they may enjoy it.
Other than that, its a movie I wouldn't see twice unless I had kids.
Pros: Too many to mention. Cons: None to speak of.
Wallace & Gromit is great for all ages. I was "forced" into going to "The Curse of the Were-Rabbit" and found it to be great. I have yet to see a negative review of the movie. If you want to leave the theater feeling great see it today!
Gromit ol' pal, i need some assistance! by honky_tonk89 ,Aug 14 '06
Pros: very very funny and very quotable Cons: none
I loved the movie. I think its the best so far. Very funny. I thought the animation was good and the characters are lovable. Has both the *haha* scenes and the *tear**tear**poor gromit* scenes. Good family movie. Now i'm going to go eat because "i'm in the mood for FOOD!"
The Curse of the Were-Rabbit by mhscott ,Sep 23 '06
Pros: The animation is great. The characters are all incredibly funny and the storyline is superb. Cons: I could not find any cons about this movie. It was worth buying.
This movie appeals to both adults and kids. The obvious antics of both Wallace and his sidekick are funny to watch but also the looks of exasperation on their faces when things don't quite go according to plan.
The storyline was funny and the characters are quite appealing.
