Pros: Williams. Funny, entertaining movie. Cons: Silly at times. Plot not the most original.
I have liked Robin Williams for years and have seen and enjoyed many of his movies. I have been wanting to see RV mainly just because he was in it. I recently saw it and did really enjoy it. Bob and Jamie Munro ...
RV stars Robin Williams, Jeff Daniels, and Cheryl Hines in a PG-rated comedy about a family’s comic mishaps while taking a cross-country vacation in a huge motor home. It was directed by Barry Sonnenfeld of Men in Black and The Addam’s ...
Pros: Funny, Robin Williams. Cons: Some slow spots in the movie, over use of some antics.
RV is a 2006 comedy starring Robin Williams. We have been waiting for the DVD release of this movie with hopes of an enjoyable movie. It lived up to it's promise even though the film was a bit cheesy also. Lights, Camera....Action! ...
Pros: The acting and moral are fine Cons: I was expecting a comedy
Growing up, a family vacation meant hitching up the car to a trailer and heading out. And some of my happiest memories are from those trips. It didn't matter where we went, we had a good time. With that background, I must admit I was curious ...
Pros: Some genuine chuckles. Cons: The movie thinks it's hilarious, even though it's far from it.
There is a scene early on in RV where Robin Williams asks his family what would be a good name for the RV they just rented to take on a business trip disguised as a family vacation. The daughter, a Vegetarian Goth, suggests "big turd". Her younger ...
Pros: Excellent performance by the Munros and Gornickes. Cons: None

Pros: Williams and Sonnenfeld team up for a comedy... Cons: ...but without their kind of touch.
For me, the idea of Robin Williams and director Barry Sonnenfeld in a comedy intrigued me tremendously. That being Williams is a gifted comic actor whose reputation is known for improvisations, and Sonnenfeld for the offbeat, unusually shot comedies he ...
English as second language. I just come back from the theater were I saw RV with my husband. The teasers look funny, and so was the movie. The story is about that man (Williams), who as trouble with his wife and kids. While they were supposed to ...
Pros: Good message, funny moments Cons: Not the funniest or most gripping I’ve ever seen
RV is a family comedy about a family. It sports a pretty typical plot formula just centered around the concept of an RV trip. Bob is a career-minded dad with two kids and a wife. They are mildly dysfunctional, but not to the point of the wife leaving or ...
Pros: Slapstick comedy, cast works quite well together. Some laugh-out-loud jokes Cons: A few verbal jokes go pass without a laugh. Not enough laugh-out-loud comedy.
Overworked "Bob Munro" (Robin Wiliams) plans to leave for Hawaii with his strained family who need some serious quality time together. However, "Bob" changes the planned trip to a road trip to a lake in Colorado he and his parents went to when he was a ...
Pros: Good video quality, good audio, includes bonus features, cool navigational menus. Cons: Not the best comedy film
This is the second Blu-ray movie I have owned, behind only the Talladega Nights movie that was included with my PS3. While the movie isn't exactly something I'd want to watch over and over, the video quality and special features give us an idea of what ...
Pros: Relatively Funny Movie
Relatively Great Actors Cons: Somewhat Sickening At Times
Somewhat Not Family-Friendly
Even though this is nowhere near being either my favorite or being anywhere on the chart for my category of awesome movies, this is actually a good movie. The movie begins when the family is home, and Robin Williams feels that he is not spending enough ...
Pros: Robin Williams and cast give a very enjoyable performance. Cons: A couple of minor sexual references and some potty humor.

Pros: Suitable for all ages. Clean family fun. Cons: none
I rented this movie with hesitations. From the previews, I expected this movie to be more stupid than funny, going over the top on silly antics by Robin Williams. I was pleasantly surprised.
RV was a genuinely enjoyable movie. We all liked it. The silliness was not overpowering.
PLOT: This movie actually has a plot. It's not just an excuse for silly antics. This family learns a lot during their RV trip, both about life and the importance of others.
This movie gives you good feelings about others and about family. You will find yourself laughing, as I did, and maybe crying (happy tears) as did my better half.
This is definitely a 'feel good' movie. It is suitable for everyone. A good film to watch with the family on a Saturday night.
Overall, I enjoyed it quite a bit. This movie was well above my expectations. The previews don't do it justice. The previews suggest a more silly movie than it actually is.
Pros: Great movie if you need to get some sleep Cons: Terrible if you are in the mood for some laughs
The advertisers for this movie should be promoted. They boosted this movie, and hyped it up as the funnies movie of the year. I planned a movie night for my husband and I a scary movie and a comedy (both Robin Williams lovers this was to be great) wrong. This movie was horrible, dampened the entire mood of the evening and put us both to sleep. Unless your having trouble sleeping I wouldn't rent this movie.
