Monique in a lead role...Is she ready??? by nicerlady ,Apr 26 '06
Pros: Love yourself and others will do the same. Cons: It's not a movie for young big girls, too much sexual content for children.
Monique has the lead role in her new movie Phat Girls. She is a comedian and that's what she is. The movie was funny because that's what she does make jokes. If you want to rent this movie and have a few laughs then it's the movie for you. I'll say it's worth $4.00 to rent but I shouldn't have paid $8.50 to see it in the show. The acting was totally B rated. During the funny scenes she had it down packed but once there was any seriousness to the script she totally bombed.

Pros: Showed both happy and sad sides of being a large person. you pursue them persistently Cons: As with many movies today the sexual content is inappropriate for younger audiences.
