Not The Alpha Dog Role Model You Want For Your Kids by femasia ,Jan 10 '07
Pros: A true story Cons: Plot was not well developed and too many minutes spent on the worthless people
This movie was a disappointment, especially, because it is supposed to be based on a true story. The movie was not well developed, or maybe it was not told in a way that the audience can appreciate it is a story about a fifteen-year old boy, who lost his life, because of a bunch of drug-dealing dimwits, who had lost all their brain cells due to drug usage and could not see the numerous options of dealing with the kidnapping charge. The movie did not become interesting towards the last 15% of the movie because it actually dealt with the main plot, the kidnapping and death of the boy. The rest of the movie was boring and irritating because the audience is bombarded with idiotic kids, high on drugs, who cannot make a complete sentence to save their lives. Who wants to sit there for 1.5 hours and watch idiots try to talk? I thought the best and most moving parts were the interview of the mother of the boy at the end. This movie barely made an "average" rating for me; it did so because it was a true story of a boy who died senselessly.
Pros: Absolutely NONE Cons: Bad acting, bad make-up, horrid "special effects", boring story, overall BORING movie.
Saw this movie, and wish I hadn't. Justin Timberlake is as believable a "bad-boy" as Britney is a "Good actress".
Boring story line, absolutely ATROCIOUS acting, the only saving grace was......wait, there WAS no saving grace for this embarrassment of a film.
