Pros: Big screen, huge amount of memory, many built-in functions and features
    Cons: Price

Summary: Okay, so I tried to think up a title that would make this seem a little more interesting than the bland review of a calculator that it is. Having failed miserably in my attempt, I'll go straight to some information about the 49G in the hope that I'll ... read more

Pros: Does it all, or nearly so
Cons: Steep learning curve, button layout.

Summary: Before I get to the meat of this review, I have to say that the 49G is really a marvel of technology. It has incredible symbolic math capabilities, and can perform nearly any calculation (including things like FFTs, all sorts of matrix operations, etc). ... read more

Pros: Does literally everything, great internet support
Cons: time to learn, users manuals, cost, hard to find

Summary: I have been a loyal TI user since high school and the TI-80. I could never figure out the Reverse Polish Notation on the HP calcs. I used a TI-85 in college while majoring in engineering and without it, I would not have passed! If I would have had the HP ... read more

Cons: Takes a while to learn, cost

Pros: Much more functionality than TIs, More Efficient (RPN), Large Memory, better keyboard layout, on-calculator help
Cons: A little expensive, bad color (blue), Can be slow if you dont use built-in functions

Summary: I first started out using a TI-85 in early high school. Then I switched to the HP48GX. At first it was difficult to use because I was not use to the RPN. By the end of the day, I saw why RPN is so much more efficient. It uses a stack so your entry ... read more

    Pros: the color
    Cons: using the calculator

Summary: Ok, so I needed a catching title :) You're reading this aren't you? The calculator itself is very aesthetically pleasing. With it's seafoam green metallic body and translucent matching cover, it looks likes a fabulous new toy! At least they're more ... read more
