Pros: Bang for the buck, durability, functionality Cons: Overkill for bookkeeping, cover sticks
The Texas Instruments TI-34 scientific calculator has proven to be one my best buys. This highly underrated little device has saved many hours of laborious and potentially error-wrought bookkeeping and numerical base conversion. For those who do no more...
Pros: Screen size and readability, durability, thoughtfulness of features, strength, functionality, battery life Cons: Plastic cover, needs an "off" button, coloring/font on some keys, arrows should be bigger
Introduction I was sick and tired of having to buy a new three-dollar calculator every week because it kept breaking. By buying a new calculator evey week, I was not being cost-efficient. I also needed to take a state test (including ...

I'm currently the proud owner of my second TI-34 scientific calculator, since my original one wore out in the late 1990s - after about 15 years of use! Yes, these things are built to last.

Pros: Everything about it!!! Cons: Durability-not so well.

Also, the dust gets trapped under the screen and won't come out unless you hit it and throw it (But that broke my old one) and it gets very annoying. Also, the cover doesn't snap on so easily. But for the price-$19-Anyone who doesn't have on is left in the dust.
The TI-34 II is another in a long line of great calculators for students and professionals who don't need graphing capabilities. It is a great choice ...More at Newegg.com
