The manual instructs you to place the mode of the machine on "Manual" to control faxes received. When this didn't work I called Technical Support and was told that "Manual" mode will not prevent faxes from coming through. I asked if there was any way...

Cons: takes 3 minutes to send/receive faxes, confusing controls.

I haven't liked this fax machine since I bought it recently 10-02-02. Price was 79.00 plus shipping so I guess I got what I paid for. The fax part I have always had trouble with. It takes 3 minutes to receive a fax and sometimes I don't even get them....

Cons: Won't last long even with light use. Paper jams, won't feed!

Purchased this 750 new about 1 year ago. Have only used it to fax about 20 document in this time. As of now, it won't feed paper. Load 2 sheets, dial a number to fax too and hit send. Machine connects, starts to feed the first sheet then hangs up. Probably cost more than the machine did new to get it fixed. Also, no on/off switch? That is really needed on any electronic item. Very displeased!

My machine is less than 2 yeras old, and the paper will not feed for receiving a fax or making a copy. The feed mechanism is not easy to get to and repair. The cartridge is very expensive for the small number of copies that can be printed, even though it is easy to remove and replace. Seems I was always running out of cartridge in the middle of a fax. Fax lost memory when unpluged. I can not recommend you purchase this fax machine
