Pros: Good snorkeling spots, tons of food, friendly crew, smaller boat = fewer people, easy reservations Cons: No fresh water showers, catamaran crowded at full capacity, expensive
While on Maui last month, my wife and I decided we wanted to snorkel the famous Molokini Crater, a small crescent shaped refuge a few miles off Maui's southern coast. After doing some research online, we decided to go with Trilogy Excursion's ...

Trilogy's Molokini & Turtle Town Excursion
by nouwenfan ,Apr 18 '07
Pros: crew who seem to truly enjoy their jobs, great food, competent and caring crew Cons: none
My husband and I were both pleasantly surprised by and satisfied with our snorkeling excursion with Trilogy. The crew was pleasant and informative from our first encounter, though they'd likely been asked the same questions a million times before. The snorkeling and safety instructions and briefings were given with humor. I believe we saw more sea turtles because of the crew's tips. We were surprised at the quality of the lunch, considering that it was stored on board w/o much kitchen space. Yum! Captain Patty and crew members Clark and Megan were competent and caring. They were very approachable when we wanted to joke with them, yet they left us alone when we wanted to absorb the sun and sea and have some quite time. Thanks for a great day!
