El Dorado State Park

Pros: Large state park- lots of room to roam. Nice camphosts**
Cons: Not enough patrols at night- park rangers don't do their job at this park.

Nice, large state park but never enough shade/trees here (it's kansas!). This is the biggest state park in Ks- most weekends you can get a site and not be crammed in with alot of other people if you choose. Some nice newer shower houses in some campgrounds/areas. Area down behind dam is only real shady area- has hookups. No primitive sites behind dam.
