Pros: Very knowledgeable rangers and tour guides. Cons: Trolleys are not running and boat tour isn't open just yet for the season.
Summary: Most National Parks, Sites, Memorials, and other such places are usually beautiful in it's rural settings. This site is much different. It is set in a city and the great majority of what you see is red brick and canals. Regardless of the lack of ... read more

Pros: Convenient to park and walk, admission is moderate, historically accurate, "back-in-time" atmosphere Cons: none

Pros: a beautiful national park, many things to do Cons: not for the whole family - kids would be bored with the history & the museum
Summary: Lowell National Park, in Lowell MA is a great place to visit for a few days. For $10 you can buy an all day tour pass - which includes a ride on the trolley, a canal ride (complete with park ranger as your tour guide), and a trip through the museum, ... read more
