Pros: We LOVE this park. It's beautiful and there's lots to do.
Cons: The campgrounds are pretty far from Lake Michigan, too far for young kids to walk.
Summary: We vacationed near the Ludington State park last summer and loved it so much that we bought a pop-up camper so we could come more often and stay right in the park. The camping is great with nice sized sites, very clean bathrooms, friendly neighbors, ... read more

Pros: Cleanliness, showers, beach and sunsets.
Cons: It is too far from Springfield, Illinois.

Pros: Beach, showers, boardwalk
Cons: Campsites- within 5-10 feet of each other.
Summary: Ludington SP was a beautiful park but the campsites are way to close together and would compare them to living in a tuna can. If you like closeness, this place is for you. We stayed in mid September and the place was completely full. The weather was nice
