I've been going to Round Valley ever since I was a small child. I think that the park itself is beautiful, and the fishing on the lake is great. I've known the rangers to be strict but fair. If you don't want a ticket then don't break the law. Its as simple as that. The lifeguards are very competent and good at their jobs. I see them constantly training either with their equipment or doing physical training by swimming in the lake. I've even seen them swim the entire perimeter of it! There are in very good shape. The camping areas are beautiful and far enough apart so you can be to yourself. I like Round Valley Recreational Area
