Pros: Largest Oregon state park with 10 waterfalls along a 7 mile trail.
Cons: Trail signs are lacking.

Pros: Great hiking trails, beautiful forests.
Cons: Can be very busy in the summer...make a reservation!

Pros: Inexpensive activity
Cons: DOGS (on leashes are) limited to very few trails.
Summary: Silver Falls is beautiful, don't get me wrong. It is well worth the time to see; however, my husband and I enjoy hiking with our dog, who happens to be just like a child to us. In fact, she behaves better than some peoples children. Visitors to the falls
