Mother Neff State Park

Pros: Very Clean. Lots of shade. A great place to take your RV. We enjoyed it.
Cons: There was some through traffic from time to time

My wife and I are veteran campers and we are always looking for great camping places. We found that Mother Neff State Park was one of the nicest camping spots in Texas. It is clean well kept and is located under a large tree canopy that gives lots of shade. Just guessing, but I believe it must have been at least 20 degrees cooler there under the trees.

Lots of wildlife and if you like birds you will find many of the ones you might be looking for. I know we did.
