Pros: wooded sites, clean sites, nice people, full hook-ups Cons: need bigger trash cans

Steam Engines - What an experience!

Pros: Well worth the trip! Plan to go during the dogwood season - such beauty! Cons: The camping facilities are disappointing unless you like to "camp" on a concrete parking lot.
The steam engine trip was a great experience and one that will always be remembered - be sure to pack a picnic lunch to take on the train with you so that at the mid-way stop, you can enjoy your lunch with friends and family under one of the huge shade trees. Don't forget the camera!
